About: My husband and I loved our dog for 10 years. We can’t get another one anytime soon but will love yours like our own. We both had dogs as pets growing up and have cared for a pet for 40+ years. I am an elementary school principal. I am available for full-time care or walking June-August. Outside of that, I’m available full-time on the weekends and evenings during the week. About: Hi, I’m Riley! I’m a reliable dog-sitter who has had over four years of experience caring for dogs of varying ages, sizes, and breeds. Primarily, I’ve dog sat for numerous fosters dogs my neighbors have had. From that experience I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’ve been caring dogs my whole life—since I was 7, I’ve helped care for three family dogs, and during the pandemic I raised my parents' energetic pup while they were at work, taking her on plenty of long walks and giving her the attention and activity she needed. After a restructuring I was laid off from my most recent role. Rover gives me flexibility to drop in/walk your pet whenever you need during the work week! About: I've always had dogs growing up and now we've had 2 cats for the past 5 years. We've fostered several dogs in our home, and have many references throughout Brookfield for pet sitting/walking. My daughter is something of an animal whisperer and can calm the craziest pet. She hopes to work in a vet office someday and volunteers at the humane society. As a family, we've taken care of multiple pets while people are on vacation including but not limited to dogs, cats, bearded dragons, gerbils, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and fish. My daughter and I would love to help you keep your loved one company while keeping them safe! We would stop over and take care of your pet only if it fell well in our schedule, so we will never take a job that we can't do. And we'd never rush because we know pets need their special people time too! I had dogs growing up and my parents crated them, which is fine for some pets, but not for our dogs growing up. It always made me feel horrible that they'd cry all day in a crate. This is why we don't have dogs right now, as our kids are busy and I've told them it would not be fair to the pet for us to be gone all day and night. This would give us the perfect fit of pet time for us while helping you out! We always make sure pets are on the leash before leaving the home. We scoop our own cat litter once a day to keep it clean. We are excited to spend time with your loved one.

I’ve had two wonderful dogs of my own—a Bullmastiff and a rescue mix—both around 75 lbs, so I’m very comfortable handling larger breeds. My rescue needed two TPLO knee surgeries, so I’m also experienced with medication administration, mobility support, and caring for senior or recovering dogs. I know how important it is for your dog to feel safe and happy while you’re away. That’s why I take the time to learn your pup’s favorite toy, game, or treat to make each visit feel familiar and fun. Caring for dogs brings me so much joy, and I’d love the opportunity to stop by for a walk or check in to give your furry friend some love and attention while you’re out! I currently work Monday through Thursday 8-4:30. I would ensure your pets are taken care of every morning and evening when I work and even more on my off days . I would ensure your pets are comfy and well taken care of by providing regular walks, playtime and desired meals and treats and fresh water. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and letting them sniff all the wonderful smells.
