“Nikki’s genuine passion for animals is evident in my dog’s reaction every time they see her. Just the simple act of coming to the house to get them makes them ecstatic. They can hear a car as soon as it enters our driveway, and when they see her car, they start barking and howling and wanting their leash on. Just the little bit of time she spends with them has really changed their activity level at home. Nikki is their new friend and they love her so much.”

About: There has never been a time in my life where I was not a doting caregiver for at least one dog in my home. I am proficient in any tasks included in caring for any canine! This includes poop scooping, accident clean-up, brushing, adhering to feeding and walking schedules, and more. I am also open to, and comfortable with, medical situations such as administering medications or accommodating the needs of a disabled/older dog. Above all else, I challenge myself always to allow dogs, and all animals, to find a space of comfort around me. I volunteer several times a week caring for dogs at local animal shelter, and I will soon be seeking employment there. This opportunity has allowed me to gain experience being comfortable with dogs of varying sizes and temperaments on walks and maintenance. I'm currently home from college for the summer, and right now work part-time in pharmacy, with half of my schedule open for volunteering at the shelter and making time for Rover bookings. With that being said, my schedule is pretty flexible! I have plenty of time, and not many obligations to worry about other than the utmost care possible for your pet(s). Due to the presence of one dog who does not like strangers at my home, I only offer house sitting and drop-ins currently! I have worked in a variety of home environments and am willing to work in any situation. My phone is on at all times for owner concerns, and I am willing to send pictures of the animal at request! I strictly follow rules and guidelines pertaining to animal care, and aim to make it a comfortable and positive space for me, the animal(s) and the owner at all times.

About: I love dogs and cats-my two pets are just like children. I have always had a pet and I enjoy wet dog noses, puppy breath, and kitty purrs! I will treat your fur-babies just like family and make sure they are happy and cared for. I am reliable, responsible, and trustworthy, and I keep a very organized schedule. I took a long break from Rover due to training and activities with my own dog, COVID shutdowns making everything difficult, etc. I will be offering services during the times of early mornings, evenings and weekends as I do work a full-time job during the weekdays (during the day). I can provide trusted care for your pets-dogs on a leash, monitored playtime, and poop pickup for dog potty. If a pet has pottied or jumped water/food I can clean that up also.

“Victoria was so attentive to my puppy and provided a BUNCH of pictures and updates. I was very nervous leaving my puppy with someone new for the first time, but Victoria was understanding and made it as smooth as possible. Jasper was in a great mood and slept really well that night after we got home. Will definitely be rebooking with her for regular walks.”

About: I have three pups of my own and am trusted by friends and neighbors to care for their fur babies while they are at work or away from home. I am currently off work for the summer and will have plenty of flexibility and time to care for your pup while you are away. I have a large fenced in yard where your pup can play and a dog friendly home where your dog will have access to the furniture and cozy places. I also have two small dogs to keep your pet company during their stay.

About: I’ve always been asked to take care of animals by friends and family. I’ve always been asked to pet sit due to my love for animals and my ability to love them as my own. I’m currently working part time and am taking college classes online at Western Governors University! I enjoy the flexibility of pet sitting and how well it works with my schedule and how I also get to build bonds with animals! I have a fenced yard and two female labs that love to make friends! Unfortunately my dogs aren’t fixed so only females could board during the day. I’m also working towards getting a safety cage in my car to not only keep my pets safe, but yours as well!

“She was great. Friendly, pleasant good with dogs. Always prompt”

About: I managed a pet store for 7 years. Handling dogs helping a groomer. I checked them in for appointments and checked them out for pick ups. Depends on what is needed. I work part time. I also work around my bookings. I’m very flexible. When I dog sit I make it all about the dog and treat them as if they are children. I prefer your home. I care for them by whatever directions or schedule you prefer if there on a routine or not. I love your dogs as if they were mine.

“Thank you again, McKenna!”

About: Ever since I was 9, I have taken care of dogs and cats from ranches to homes, and from walks to simple home care visits. I and currently PRN and going to school during the week days, with the PRN my availability may vary but more than likely I am available. My classes are only in the mornings with only one being in the afternoon, which gives me plenty of time with your furry babies. I am a great problem solver and will always work in the best interest of your pet. If I am unsure about anything that can possibly hinder your pet's safety I will always ask you. I want your babies safe and you stress and worry free.

About: I grew up with cats & dogs. We always had at least two in our house as kids and I've owned lots and lots of pets with human names. Since I’m a teacher I am available all summer long. I am an early riser and can accommodate all times you may need for your pets My pets get walked four times a day and seem to be my mode of exercise. I can accommodate early and late hours in particular.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since my sophomore year in high school! I’ve never had an issue with a pet and love being able to help :) I’m currently on my summer break so I would like my availability to be Monday- Friday and I can make exceptions on weekends for emergencies :) I have a fenced in yard but prefer to care for your pet in the comfort of your own home as I think that makes meeting and interacting with your pet much easier and comfortable!

About: Hi there!! I love both dogs and cats, and look forward to taking care of them. I've had many pets growing up. Habló Español también. As of right now I am available and flexible on time as school is out. I have been trying to find a second job, and would much rather prefer this to be my 2nd job as I enjoy going on runs with my dog and hanging out with my furbabies (I also have 2 cats). Why not make money while having fun and meeting new furbabies? I live near downtown Elkhart (heading towards Bristol). I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood where there is plenty of space to walk, run, and enjoy a large field of grass (if allowed to be off leash).

About: Now in Elkhart, IN! I first started out in the dog world working in doggy daycares. I started to realize there’s a huge amount of wonderful dogs missing out on fun simply because they don’t fit daycare or dog park standards. I was watching dogs get turned away for creating problems out of boredom or stress due to the chaotic environment. I saw owners leaving confused and dogs leaving misunderstood and even labeled. Every dog deserves to be out and about! That’s when I started my own walking/exercise business out of St. Charles MO. Six years later and we’ve had a BLAST! I provide customized outings that cater to your dog and what they love most. Outings build confidence, burn energy, enforce good behavior and teach new skills. We explore a variety of activities like biking, hiking, swimming, dry land mushing and frisbee. We have fun with strengths and work on weaknesses. I am looking forward to bringing the fun to the dogs of IN! I offer three different services: neighborhood walk, field trip and day care - on the go! Neighborhood Walks consist of exploring anywhere within walking distance of your home. They can be booked for 30mins - 1.5 hr. Field Trips allow for more exploring, more exposure training and more intense exercise. We will drive to a park away from home. These outings are 2hrs. Daycare -on the go! is the full package. We go all over! This is a 5hr day from time of pickup to drop off. Daycare - on the go! is a group outing where your dog will meet and build a relationship with two - three other day camp dogs. They spend the day together as a group hiking, swimming, biking, exploring, playing and training! My daycare dogs have more park patches than most people! Solo daycare options are available as well in case your dog does not particularly enjoy other four legged friends. I have been so incredibly lucky to run my dog Field Trip and Daycare - on the go! business for the past six years successfully and safely in MO.

3. Miles W.
“Hello, Miles is a very conscientious pet caregiver, he has grown up helping us raise dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, on our small hobby farm. We showed our turkeys and goats for 3 years at the 4H fair in Centreville and he was very mindful of the care and cleanliness of our 4H clubs animals, plus some of the turkeys one year when they looked hungry and stressed. He seems to read the animals body language and knows how to approach them. He helped save a baby bird once as well and turned it loose when was ready. He takes excellent care of our animals, he actually carried his turkeys to the show pen at the fair! He is a very on hands pet sitter, absolutely makes sure the pets are clean, comfortable and that they are safe.”
