About: For my 10th birthday I got a golden retriever. She was my best friend and sparked such a love for animals in me. I’ve taken care of every farm animal you could think of, every kind of dog ranging in every size, I love all cats and have cared for many as well! I’m doing schooling online and I’m extremely flexible on a day to day basis and on weekends as well. I wake up early and go to sleep early typically so I can adjust to whatever feeding schedule any animal may be on. I have a very large property with woods and lots of room to run around. I live on a road I take daily walks on. I have a large house and a barn outside as well. I’m flexible depending on what your fur baby is most comfortable with. I can offer a lot of exercise, cuddles, they can sleep in a crate if that makes them comfortable or they can sleep out of the crate.

About: I’ve taken care of my two Labs ever since I was 6 years old, (i’m 21 now) and have been dog sitting and cat sitting the past four summers!! Also I have worked in a vet clinic the past four years as well. I have the special skill of administering medication! I’m currently working part time at the vet clinic in the afternoons and it’s only 2-4 days a week usually. I can dog walk or pet sit in my free time during the day and on weekends. Possibly for a week or so. I unfortunately cannot watch them in my own home due to not having a good yard for them because it has a pool and not much area to run around. And also my dads allergies. About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

I have two dogs of my own aged 5 and 4, so I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring to watch your pets when needed! I have watched dogs ranging from full grown german shepherds to small puppies. I volunteered at my local animal shelter, Pet Refuge, five years ago and discovered my passion for animals! I have experience with caring for numerous sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs through both my past volunteer experience and my work here through Rover over the past 4 years. These dogs include pit bulls, golden retrievers, australian shepherds, poodles and doodles, labs, chihuahuas, beagles, bulldogs, terriers, and many mixes in between. My experience includes walking, feeding, giving oral medicine, and knowledge of the various traits and behaviors of dogs. Margot loved her four night stay at her house. she was able to play with the dogs in her care during the day and she was extremely patient with her when she was whining at night in the beginning. I was worried that my six month doodle was going to come back matted after having five days without being brushed. I didn’t need to worry. Lindsay kept on top of the brushing (without being asked to do so). If we ever need a dog sitter in the South Bend area, we will jump at the opportunity to use Lindsay’s services again!”

“Was in town for the weekend and my dog couldn’t stay with me at my hotel but it was fine because she was in great hands with Nicholas!! She is an Akita and she is a rescue so that can be a lot to handle but not for him: he even got her to socialize with his dog. So much so, that when I went to pick her up, they were still busy chasing each other around. Anyone who has dealt with a difficult breed or a rescue knows how much time is needed and I’m grateful!!Thanks again for helping out!”
