About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have taken care of everything from great pyrenees to Shih Tzu’s and even sugar gliders. I love volunteering at the Birmingham Humane Society and I know how to take care of puppies and seniors, how to give medication, and how to do basic emergency care like the Heimlich. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me. For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For walks, please let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy!

About: I have animal experience in a shelter setting and in a medical setting. I’m currently working at a veterinary office as a kennel attendant. I’m also able to administer medications orally or via injections. I work from 8-6, but I get a two hour lunch. I’m able to drop in and check on animals in the mornings, on my lunch break and after work. I’m always mindful of an animals mood and try to adjust accordingly. If there’s treats, toys or routine that make an animal comfortable the that’s what I try to follow.

I started after I brought in a puppy from the street and they loved that I loved a dog I’ve never even met so much to take her home and they signed me up for volunteer work! About: As much of a people person I am, I’d consider my self equally as much of a pet person! I love to engage with animals and learn about their personalities and engage with them in whatever environment keeps them happy and healthy! I work full-time, 4 days/week with 1 off day during the week. My evenings and weekends are pretty flexible and I’m willing to work with whatever accommodations that may be required of me. About: Hi I’m Felicity! I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and breeds pretty much my entire life. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, I have had a western hog nose and a chameleon at one point. I offer In-home pet sitting, Overnight stays, Daily visits (up to 1 hour), Feeding and medication administration, stimulating play, whatever helps your fur baby. I work 6-4:30 Monday through Friday at midfield animal hospital and get a lunch break every day, a reliable car for transportation if needed. I also am familiar with most of the dog parks in the area if that is of interest, and I know great place for stimulating walks. I have extra crates, extra treats, lots of play mats, treat mats, and feeding mats to provide extra stimulation when needed. I know it’s not easy for you to be away from your babies, think of how they must feel.
About: hiii! I was an animal shelter volunteer for a little over 7 years! I am very comfortable around all types of animals, poop etc. doesn’t bother me either! I think a person watching your animals shouldn’t just “watch” them but spend quality time with them! It can be scary for animals being left with an unfamiliar face so making the experience as enjoyable as possible ensures that they will be more comfortable next time! i also already go to the dog park every other day and sometimes every day! we absolutely love going (me and my dog sookie)!! For the cats I have plenty of scratch posts and things they can play with. I also have cats of my own they love making friends! For dogs, I have a crate and large backyard with a lead post! they are allowed on couches and the bed if they want to go that route!
