About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while. I've taken care of very tiny newborns, sick, old, special needs and of course healthy animals. It would be my pleasure to welcome your fur babies with open arms into my home or yours. They will be treated like my own. If you are in the process of training, I will pick up where you left off with potty, leash training, etc. I can give baths and brushes if needed. About: I can't remember a time in my life I did not have my own pets. I have taken care of my own pets all of my life and am a lifelong animal caregiver. I have experience as a foster mom for an animal rescue as well and I enjoyed taking care of so many different babies and helping them find their forever homes. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. My wife is a RN so she is home 4 days a week to help watch and play with your dog also! Someone will always be available to supervise your pet and can update you with pictures through their stay! I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so they have access to come in and out as they please. I also have a big energetic German shepherd lab mix that will play with your dog all day! I have worked in a pet store as well as in veterinary offices when I used to live back in Indiana so I have learned a lot about caring for animals. I attended veterinary nursing school too before I moved, but I didn’t get to finish before moving down here and am currently looking to re start schooling here in Alabama. While I there I gained even more knowledge on animal health and care. I was the kennel manager for the shelter pets that we had at the school, where I was in charge of administering oral and IV/IM pet medication. I have experience working with elderly pets with medical issues as my own fur baby who passed in 2025 suffered from CHF and she required a lot of extra care towards the end. I love all types of animals and have experience caring for not only just dogs and cats. Over the years I have owned reptiles, turtles, and currently own 2 rabbits as well as 2 cats and 1 dog! If you book with me I will treat your pet as though they were my own so you can rest easy knowing they are loved and taken care of! I only work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pet! I am not typically away from home for very long, so I will be able to regularly come to check on your pet. I have a large fenced in yard and a dog door that my two dogs go in and out of freely. I will walk or run with your dog daily. There is usually always someone in my house at home at all times, who all love to interact with dogs. I have one other dogs. She is typically nice with other dogs but can be very skittish, so they would need to be introduced prior to being watched. The safety and comfort of all of the dogs including my own are my priority, so it needs to be a good fit. My dog does love to play a lot so they usually enjoy having another furry friend to play with. My 2 cats and 2 rabbits also live in the home, but the layout of the house allows them to stay in the upstairs portion of the house and it is blocked off to allow them to be separated. About: I have worked with various breeds from a Newfoundland to a Pomeranian. My family owns two dogs that have had two litters of puppies so I have experience with dogs from new born to seniors. I also have a two furbabies of my own. I’m highly motivated and energetic, I don’t mind taking high energy dogs for long walks/ runs or just snuggling up and comforting dogs with separation anxiety. I don’t mind taking your dog on field trips, weather it’s to the lake or the dog park or just playing inside on rainy days! I love all breeds of dogs even ones considered “bully breeds” those are the sweetest in my opinion. For dog boarding if you have your dogs trained a certain way (staying off furniture) I can certainly enforce that while they are at my house. I can also work with any other needs like that if it is needed. Such as if your dogs do not get along with other dogs I can always put mine up in their room. The dogs will always meet in a neutral area before brought in the house to make sure they get along! I am currently attending school online so my schedule is open and very flexible! Whether your dog just needs a walk midday, someone to feed them while you’re at work, or someone to come stay with them/ to come stay with me and my pup because they aren’t good alone at home! I am currently in an house it does not have a fenced in backyard but i do have a big backyard and tie outs. I also have 2 furbabies to keep your pup comapany! About: I have had multiple dogs growing up I do have a dog right now and I have dog sat my aunts dog while leaves. Dogs and children are the two things I really love in this world and I feel that I know how to care for them as they are my own. I a pretty free after 12 during the weekdays and on the weekend I am very free to do what ever needs to be done. I have a lot of time to spare and spend with dogs rather that be a nice long walk like I do with my dog everyday or just playing with for a while. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13 years old. I have my own pup named Benji, he is a Springer Spaniel, and a cat named Maizy. I will go above and beyond to ensure your baby is well taken care of. I also love to take and send pictures!! I currently work part time and have availability for check ins Thursday-Sunday. Whether your dog or cat needs to be fed, a potty break, or a quick play date I am available. I also can stay for extended periods of time and am willing to stay for a couple hours in the home if necessary and if you are comfortable! In your home I will of course ensure your pet has their basic needs met, including food, water, and pottying. But I also would love to take your dog on a walk or play fetch outside! As for cats I would love to play with them with their toys and keep them entertained! I will never let a dog outside their home or yard without a leash and I will only work with dogs of a size I can safely manage.
About: I’ve worked in a cat, dog, and exotic kennel for 3 years at a veterinary clinic. I have over 500 hours in small animal husbandry and I also shadow and work with a veterinarian during the summer. This experience has made me extremely versed in reading animal body language as well as being detailed oriented when it comes to pristine care for pets no matter if they are puppies, kittens or seniors citizens. About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while. I've taken care of very tiny newborns, sick, old, special needs and of course healthy animals. It would be my pleasure to welcome your fur babies with open arms into my home or yours. They will be treated like my own. If you are in the process of training, I will pick up where you left off with potty, leash training, etc. I can give baths and brushes if needed. I am a independent contractor and I make my own schedule. My work is very pet friendly so at the discretion of the parents, if they enjoy car rides, they can can either come with or I will stay home with them during their stay. I am very flexible.
