“My dog got along great with hers and her family, kept me updated on everything and in the loop with how he was doing, and super flexible and took my last minute request!”

“Milo was so well taken care of & had a wonderful stay. I loved the puctures and updates serval times a day. The entire family took part in his care & giving him love while we were on this much-needed getaway. We have found the perfect sitter for him & will definitely have him stay again . Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little guy❤️”

“Great peace of mind leaving my two dogs with Samantha when a family emergency mandated I leave town suddenly. She was quick to respond and and very flexible with pick-up days/times, which I really appreciated. When I picked my pups up, they were happy and calm from all the playtime they got in Samantha's large, shady backyard. Will definitely book again with Samantha in the future!”

“Lisa is the best! So incredibly professional and experienced. Cricket had the best time and was so loved and taken care of. I’ve already become a repeat customer! Thank you for everything!”

“Maria is wonderful at checking in with any nuance in your pet’s habits. A wealth of information in addition to top notch care. Hector looks forward to visiting her and his household friends!”

“Raeann was an absolute joy!! After our sitter cancelled last minute we found she had an opening and it was absolutely perfect for our pup. She was a lifesaver for a holiday weekend. He became a part of the family right away and Raeann truly loved him for the weekend the way we love him all the time. You cannot go wrong with Raeann as your sitter, highly recommend!!!”

“Our dog, Tulip, was in great hands at Veronica's house while we were away. She was able to accommodate us for a long stay with relatively short advanced notice. We had a meet and greet with one of her pups beforehand and Tulip loved her big fenced in yard and the kiddie pools that were set up outside. You can tell that Veronica knows what she's doing when it comes to caring for dogs and she kept us updated regularly with texts, pictures, and videos, which we really appreciated. Tulip definitely enjoyed her stay and has been exhausted from the fun she had all week.”

“Victoria went above and beyond caring for my dog. This was my first time I used the service where my dog stayed in someone's home and she put my nerves at ease. She treated my dog as her own all while sending multiple updates and videos each day.”

“Tia did an amazing job looking after my puppy Milo!!! Milo had such a fun time playing with their family dog and she keep me updated throughout with the cutest pictures and videos. Highly recommend!!!! Will definitely be booking again!!”

“Debbie & Adam are amazing, we were super hesitant to leave our baby with anyone and are so happy we found them. This was our little mans first time being away from us, ever, and they were absolutely great with Murphy. They checked in with us and sent pics and videos of him throughout his stay which as crazy puppy parents helped keep our mind at ease. I would absolutely recommend Debbie and Adam!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!
“We had a great experience with Julia! She was professional, communicative, and clearly cared for my dog like her own. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. My pup came back happy and relaxed. Would definitely book again and highly recommend! 🐾”

“Skylar and Brandon were wonderful caretakers of my pup for 8 days. They were understanding of my concern for my French bulldog and the heat and were very responsive to any questions I had. They sent daily updates and pictures and I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.”

“We are so lucky to have found Shawnee as our dog sitter. We have a senior dog who prefers to be by herself and not around other pets but has endless energy. Shawnee is the ideal pet sitter for Sadie. She works from home and has as much energy as Sadie. She takes only one pet per booking. They were a perfect match. She sent photos throughout our week away. We felt completely comfortable leaving her there. I highly recommend her services!”

“Courtney is wonderful with my dogs. I can always go away and feel comfortable leaving them with. I appreciate every thing she does for them and I know they will be safe and well taken care of.”

“Elizabeth was a great choice to care for my dog Dunkin! She let him make himself right at home in her space and sent consistent pictures and updates allowing me to have great peace of mind while away. Would recommend!”

Skylar and Brandon were wonderful caretakers of my pup for 8 days. They were understanding of my concern for my French bulldog and the heat and were very responsive to any questions I had. They sent daily updates and pictures and I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.

Jessica is a gem. My dog, Aimee, is a delicate Maltese. Aimee's had knee surgery for MPL, common in this breed. Aimee limped once, after daycare. Aimee's also had gastric reflux and she requires a special diet. I sought someone who could give Aimee special attention. Jessica is an excellent caregiver/dog sitter. Aimee has fun there!! Boarding Aimee, I can vacation with ease, while Aimee vacations with Jess.
Amber was amazing with my dogs. She sent updates and pictures everyday. This was the first time that my dogs were ever out of my care and they were not the best guys to deal with but Amber did understand they were upset. I would definitely recommend Amber as she made this experience a very positive one.

Kristen & James were absolute life savers this past weekend. My regular pet sitter cancelled last minute before our weekend trip family trip and I needed to find a sitter for Bruno. I was able to book Kristen for the weekend and drop Bruno off Thursday evening. Fortunately everything worked out and Bruno and Rocky got along right away. Kristen & James were great and I felt comfortable leaving Bruno with them. Bruno had a great stay! Kristen was flexible and kind and immediately put me at ease. I would highly recommend them to family and friends. Bruno and I agree he would enjoy staying with them again. Thank you Kristen I appreciate you quickly establishing a rapport with Bruno.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
