“Michelle was amazing! Let me start by saying, this is my first experience with Rover and with hiring a dog sitter in general so I was extremely nervous! Our dog sitter ended up getting sick while we were on our trip and I needed someone in a hurry. I was looking through the Rover app after midnight trying to find someone local, and I came across Michelle and someone else's profile. Michelle didn't have any reviews at all, so that made me a bit weary but after looking at her profile I thought she seemed sweet and I needed someone ASAP, so I decided to contact her. She responded in less than 15min saying she was available for that night. Great! Then in the morning around 9am the person who was supposed to come at lunchtime to feed my doggies and take them out had a family emergency they had to tend to so they would not be available, so I reached out to Michelle hoping she would be available for a drop in (mind you it was only a few hours notice) and she was quick to respond and tell me it was no problem. I was very grateful, though still nervous because I wasn't sure how my doggies would react to her, especially being my oldest is usually very grumpy and barks at EVERYONE and takes a while to warm up to anyone. I looked on the camera when she arrived and was so surprised to see that my oldest dog was not barking and he warmed up to Michelle immediately! That alone was enough to let me know I made the right choice!! She was extremely sweet with my pups, she was in contact with me throughout every visit, and very thorough in asking questions and making sure she followed every instruction I gave her. She sent me pictures and videos and I could tell my dogs absolutely love her!! I'm so so grateful to have found Michelle, it is obvious she truly loves and cares for your fur babies! I will definitely use her any time we travel or need a quick drop in visit for our doggies. “Kathy was a dream come true. I have two cats. A young and feisty female and an elderly male cat (18 years old). She took care of them like a rock star getting them both to warm up to her in the 7 days we were away. She spent time with them and nurtured them like I would. The older cat is in diapers and she handled that like a charm. When we got home our house was in order and very clean. She brought in the mail and put out the trash and generally treated our home as if it was hers. I highly recommend Kathy and will definitely use her again.”

I am a nursing school student so I can promise you safety is my top priority if your baby needs special care, I can safely administer injectable medications if needed. I am free day or night. I can also send regular photo and video updates because I know how scary it can be to trust someone in your home with your babies. You will never be left wondering under my care. “Charlotte was wonderful with our pets! Our normally skittish small dog took to her right away. The cats and the big dog love her too. We will booking with her again in the future. She was great with communicating, quick to text back or call if there was an issue. The house was very tidy when she left. Everyday, she would walk the dogs on their usual schedule. At the end of the day she would send an updated with a daily summary of activities and pictures. We were very happy knowing our pets were in her loving care while we were away.”

About: Living in the same area for 20 years, I grew up taking care of neighbors and friends pets, from cats and dogs to birds and bunnies. I grew up with two labs, later 3 rescue mutts, a turtle and now I have a cat of my own. I’m experienced in bathing, feeding, and giving medicine to pets. I’ve house sat for 4 years now, taking care of plants, pets, mail and packages. I’m confident in my ability to care for animals of any kind and all levels of care as well as multiple at a time. I currently work park time Thursday-Sunday as a waitress, manager, and bartender and am in online classes. I’m looking to care and tend to pets mostly during the weekdays and mornings. I have a cat of my own so his space is a priority of mine. To ensure that he feels safe and comfortable I prefer to travel to clients homes where the pet being taken care of has everything provided for them. I ask my clients to write out feeding/medicine schedules, what the pet is allowed to have and not have including toys, treats, etc, as well as where they are allowed to be and not be, furniture, carpet, rooms, etc, and what they are allowed and not allowed to do. I ask my clients if their pet has any triggers & what I should expect from the pet, wether the pet be playful and hyper or enjoys sleeping most of the day. I also make sure I have the clients contact information on hand in case of any change in the pets behavior or emergency.

About: I’ve owned pets since I was born - dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, and a hedgehog. And I’ve been dog sitting and caring for friends and families pets for as long as I can remember! My sweet 10-year-old retired greyhound recently crossed the rainbow bridge, but for over 7 years he was a big pet of my daily life - from feeding to walking to administering medication. I also own 2 sweet cats - a boy and a girl, both 2 years old. They are fed a specified amount twice a day, their nails trimmed regularly, and their litter box is scooped daily plus changed weekly. I am happy to stay with your pet overnight, drop in to play and supervise outdoor time, or walk them when needed! The more time with pets, the better!

“She is a true gift for people who don’t want to leave their babies or have a fear of the unknown of traveling without them… Kimberly cared for our senior pitbull, cat, and hamster for 5 days while we were out of town and stayed in our home. She also gave our dog his medicine 2x a day & watered our plants..She sent updates and photos daily and responded quickly to my messages… we are very picky with our pets and have some odd routines with our pets as the cat and dog have to be separated and our dog can be very needy due to incontinence and separation anxiety… we felt really comfortable with Kimberly and after retuning home I can tell she gave our babies a lot of love because our dog acted like we had never even left, he was bouncy and happy instead of his usual moping like he has done in the past after boarding or staying with family and she left our house clean with almost no trace she was here.. this was a great experience and I 100% recommend her.. I wish we had found her years ago.. there are no words to describe how happy & grateful we are.. will definitely be using Kimberly again!”

About: I have had the blessing of training each and every one of the most loving and expressive German shepherds anyone will meet which has taught me so much about dogs. I’ve learned various ways they learn, the ways they love, the ways they set boundaries with people vs animals, all of it excites me. Blu bear is my registered ESA and he is my soul mate I swear on my life this dog can speak English and is a secret agent sent to watch over me… I swear! Friday nights and Saturdays though Sunday I’m available to board (excluding Sunday nights) or do overnights, or anything that needs helping really! On weekdays I’m off of work by 4pm so I am available anytime afterwards to do drop ins and I love to do an overnights with animals when I can! My dog is rambunctious, but his chaos is separated from my calm enrichment heaven I have in the basement. We got a bed, a full bonus room and bedroom with run around space, toys, a fenced backyard, treats to bathe in, and a movie marathon that’s already booked— I can’t wait to cherish your pet!!
