I’ve cared for my own cats (Willow and Forest) and also helped care for a family’s dog while babysitting — feeding, walks/potty breaks, playtime, and keeping routines consistent. My care style is routine-based and body-language focused. I don’t force interaction; I let pets settle in and I build trust first, especially with cats. I provide attention and affection when they want it, and I watch closely for cues (hunger, stress, overstimulation, fatigue). I follow all instructions precisely such as feeding, fresh water, litter maintenance, walks/potty breaks, play/enrichment, and any special notes. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, and I send updates/photos so you’re never guessing.

I can’t say enough good things about Sahara! This was the very first time I left my dogs with someone outside of my immediate family, so I was naturally nervous. From the moment I left for vacation, she made me and my fur babies feel completely at ease. She was caring, reliable, attentive, and treated my dogs like they were her own. Thank you!!!!!!
Sahara was literally an angel who stepped in when a previously hired sitter no showed after I had already left town. She has been patient with my very shy and skittish senior cat who is now enjoying being petted by Sahara. I highly recommend her.

Hello! I’m currently attending university and majoring in journalism (public relations concentration) and marketing with a minor in psychology. I’m currently on summer break so my availability is open but it will change once I start classes again in mid August.
