“Michelle was amazing! Let me start by saying, this is my first experience with Rover and with hiring a dog sitter in general so I was extremely nervous! Our dog sitter ended up getting sick while we were on our trip and I needed someone in a hurry. I was looking through the Rover app after midnight trying to find someone local, and I came across Michelle and someone else's profile. Michelle didn't have any reviews at all, so that made me a bit weary but after looking at her profile I thought she seemed sweet and I needed someone ASAP, so I decided to contact her. She responded in less than 15min saying she was available for that night. Great! Then in the morning around 9am the person who was supposed to come at lunchtime to feed my doggies and take them out had a family emergency they had to tend to so they would not be available, so I reached out to Michelle hoping she would be available for a drop in (mind you it was only a few hours notice) and she was quick to respond and tell me it was no problem. I was very grateful, though still nervous because I wasn't sure how my doggies would react to her, especially being my oldest is usually very grumpy and barks at EVERYONE and takes a while to warm up to anyone. I looked on the camera when she arrived and was so surprised to see that my oldest dog was not barking and he warmed up to Michelle immediately! That alone was enough to let me know I made the right choice!! She was extremely sweet with my pups, she was in contact with me throughout every visit, and very thorough in asking questions and making sure she followed every instruction I gave her. She sent me pictures and videos and I could tell my dogs absolutely love her!! I'm so so grateful to have found Michelle, it is obvious she truly loves and cares for your fur babies! I will definitely use her any time we travel or need a quick drop in visit for our doggies. About: Huge dog lover, will pick up literally any dog I see on the streets. Treat every fur baby with love and respect just as they treat us with love and respect. “Kathy was a dream come true. I have two cats. A young and feisty female and an elderly male cat (18 years old). She took care of them like a rock star getting them both to warm up to her in the 7 days we were away. She spent time with them and nurtured them like I would. The older cat is in diapers and she handled that like a charm. When we got home our house was in order and very clean. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, turkeys, and guinea pigs, and I'm willing to work with all animals except arachnids and insects. I wake up at around 8 every day and go to bed around 11, and I can adjust pretty easily if I need to be up earlier or later. I can mold my schedule to another routine very easily (and enjoy doing so!) and working with animals fills me with so much joy that doing the best job possible is barely a job at all. I'll meet your pet where they're at. If they don't want to be sociable, that's fine! I'll make sure they're fed and have water and they can come to me in their own time. If they want to be attached to the hip from moment one, I love that too.
