About: I’ve been a pet owner for more than 45 years and I love my animals like they are my kids. That’s what you can expect from me while caring for your pets. I’ve had little dogs and big dogs, cats, fish, even horses. I especially love Great Danes and for some reason they love me. I have no fear of them and appreciate their lap dog in a big dog body personalities. My favorite thing is when I’ve just met a new Dane, within a few minutes of meeting them they are comfortable enough to start “herding” me. This is when I know I’ve gained their confidence and trust. Most of them try to sit on my lap, I always let them. ❤️? I’m currently working remotely and have flexibility with my work and schedule. I can be available on a short or advanced notice for visits in my home or yours. I have a semi fenced yard and 2 dog parks nearby. I have 2 cats. One is social and inquisitive while the other is a princess and lounges in her royalty most of the day. Your pet and I would be besties and get as much or little attention as they desire for the duration of their stay with me.

About: Just graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology and am completing my pediatric psychology post doc fellowship- so I have flexibility with advanced notice. I promise to treat your best friend as my very own. You will not find another individual as dedicated to providing love, support, care, exercise and fun. Very big promotor of positive reinforcement! I believe pets are family. I currently have a rescue pup from Aruba who does experience significant anxiety and reactivity in novel situations and feel comfortable working with dogs who experience similar challenges. Previous experience includes extended house sitting for a family on sabitical for 6 months. During this time period, Midget (a 30lb rescue) was my number 1 companion. She was able to experience a ton of new things. I grew up with 2 Lab Retrievers, and my parents now have a black lab boarder collie mix, Sophia, and have experience taking care of larger, as well as elderly dogs. I have also done long term drop in dog care for 2 puppies. I've always been an athlete so taking longer walks or running with your buddy will not be a problem. I love hiking and I am happy to take your dog on hikes if you would like. Reference contact information available per request. My schedule is relatively flexible with advanced notice but also not always consistent. Please get in touch with me so that we can figure out a plan that would work best. About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have a cat named Pumpkin and a guinea pig named Cozy, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with plenty of hands on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. At home, I have three dogs a Great Dane, a pit mix, and a Border Collie mix as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with everything from big, strong dogs to high-energy pups and smaller pets. Having a house full of animals has taught me how important patience, consistency, exercise, and lots of attention are. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I’ll always take the time to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me. About: I once fostered a very cute polydatcyl cat named Cleo and enjoyed every moment of having a fur friend around. I did not mind at all the responsibilities involved in her care and wellbeing. It only lasted for a year but I am sure Cleo remembers/misses me as much as I miss her. I respect all forms of life and I aspire to gain trust and experience in my community. I currently have full time availability. I do have extensive professional background working in leadership roles so I am very responsible and have always prioritized humanity over production. I also enjoy cooking in my free time. While in a client's home, I am very observant of hazards and potential causes for problems. My time will be spent fully attentative to the unique care instructions left by the pets family and also will remain acutely aware of the pets wellbeing for the entire duration of my stay. My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. Those 3 years provided me with the basic knowledge about all barn animals and pets. This experience enabled my passion for helping animals no matter how large or small.
