“We have a senior Shiba Inu with pretty bad separation anxiety as well as some arthritis issues. Boarding her has become more and more fraught these past couple years, which is why I was so excited to find Erin on Rover. When we had our meet and greet before going on vacation, our dog was legit disappointed when Erin left after 30 minutes! It was readily apparent that Erin has a genuine love for and knack with older dogs such that I knew she'd be perfect for our special needs doggo. Dropping our dog off before vacation is generally pretty stressful for all involved, but not with Erin--after spending 30 minutes getting our pupper settled, she was calm and not stressed about me leaving at all. That was a first! Erin was also very communicative while we were away. She provided loads of pictures and videos along with fun updates about how they were doing and any questions she had about our doggo's quirky behavior. Best of all, it was clear to me that Erin truly cared about our pup as much as we do. If I could give Erin more than five stars I would. Stevie stayed with Patti for the second time and when we arrived to drop her off, she sprinted to the door…couldn’t get in to see Patti and her furry friends quick enough. He has separation anxiety, so leaving him can be stressful, but sometimes it just takes the right person to make him feel comfortable—and Jordyn was definitely that person! She was incredibly responsive and sent us pictures and updates throughout our entire vacation. In every picture, he looked SO happy, peaceful, and completely relaxed—not stressed or anxious at all.
