My name is Patti and I've had one or two dogs throughout my life. Currently I have an eight year old Oliver (a Maltese/Chihuahua mix) and a 6 year old Boston Terrier named Beulah. I also have three cats - Turbo, Shelby and Edward. So you see I love pets. In 2022, I retired from dental hygiene and began walking dogs through Rover. That turned into Doggie Day Care in my home and then boarding dogs overnight. A pet owner asked me if I "groom dogs" too. That got me thinking and I applied to Grooming School. I did my externship at Camp Bow Wow in Avondale PA. I now am a certified dog groomer and love every minute. I work as a groomer on Tuesdays and Thursday in the salon. In the mean time, my husband Andy retired as an accomplished CAD carpenter and installer. He loves the pets in our home as much as I do... in fact, they seem to gravitate to him more than me!!. So the days that I am grooming, he loves being here caring for your pet. They sit in the fenced in the backyard or play frisbee or catch. He gives them their lunch treats and snuggles on the couch with them. DROP IN VISITS - I can visit your Cat (s) or Dog (s) in the morning or afternoons. I will be there 1/2 hour to let dogs out, or clean kitty litter boxes. I’ll make sure they have proper food and water and treats. If there are hairballs or potty accidents, I clean it up because life happens. If you are away on an extented stay, I believe in leaving your place neater than the way I found it. If that means vacuuming fur balls, I will do it. See; photos BOARDING- Pets are welcome to stay at my home. Our backyard was recently fenced in and is large for running and playing. We have gated areas in the house or crates if needed. We have the TV room with couches and blankets and dog beds. We can also take walks around the quiet and dog friendly neighborhood. Please bring your pets food and treats as to not upset their tummies. Bring a blanket and toy of theirs too, if you like. ** DROP OFF and PICK UP TIMES for your pet are by appointment, between 8am to 7pm. I schedule dog walks and drop in visits around your reservation times. Late pick up may result in another night of boarding and expense. DOG WALKS- 1/2 hour walk with you pooch (es) for some fresh air and exercise will do him a world of good. If you have a long day at work and just need to have your dog let out midday until you get home, or any number of reasons, I’m available.
