About: If you're looking for someone who will care for your pets like they're part of the family, you've come to the right place! I've always loved animals and understand that leaving your pet with someone else takes trust. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing dependable, loving care while you're away. Whether it's dog walking, house sitting, drop-in visits, or caring for cats and dogs, I'll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe every pet deserves personalized attention. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime, your cat prefers quiet companionship, or your pet simply enjoys cuddles on the couch, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. When you book with me, you can expect: Plenty of love, attention, and playtime Fresh food and water Walks and exercise based on your pet's needs Medication administration if needed and instructions are provided Frequent photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing Respect for your home if I'm house sitting I'm reliable, responsible, and committed to treating your pets with the same care I'd want for my own. I know how important communication is, so I'll keep you updated throughout every visit or stay. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I can't wait to meet your best friend! I currently work five days a week, with shifts on Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM–12:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 AM–7:30 PM. I do my best to keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. If you have any questions about my schedule or whether I'll be a good fit for your pet's needs, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to discuss my availability and make sure we're a great match before booking! Safety is my top priority whenever I'm caring for your pet. At home, we crate our German Shepherd puppy whenever no one is there to supervise him, so I understand how important it is to securely kennel a dog before leaving the house if that's part of their routine. I know every pet has different needs, and I'm committed to following your instructions carefully to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. My family feeds our dogs twice a day, in the morning and evening. While our dogs let us know when they're ready to eat, I'm more than happy to follow your pet's specific feeding schedule and any other routines they're used to. I believe consistency helps pets feel more comfortable while you're away, and I pride myself on being punctual and dependable. I also love taking dogs on walks to give them exercise, mental stimulation, and quality one-on-one attention. Throughout each visit or stay, I'll send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.

This was our first experience using Rover.com, and we couldn't have been happier! Our sitter, Elaine, is terrific! Not only did she capture amazing pictures of our two Bengal cats, she even managed to win over Shiloh, who normally runs and hides under the bed whenever a stranger comes into our home. My husband and I could hardly believe our eyes when we watched the video of Shiloh letting Elaine pet her. It was nice, too, to come home to a clean and tidy area where the food dishes are as our cats always like dropping their food on the floor before eating. I highly recommend Elaine.

Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?

About: Hi! I’m Tarron — lifelong animal lover, rescue director, and experienced handler with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs and many other animals including cats, ducks, goats, bunnies. I’m the Executive Director of a nonprofit animal rescue and have extensive experience with: * rescue and anxious dogs * senior dogs * puppies * medication administration * decompression and slow introductions * leash handling and structured walks * dogs recovering from surgery/injury * reactive or fearful dogs I understand that every dog is different and I always prioritize safety, patience, structure, and making dogs feel comfortable and secure. Because I have animals of my own and run a rescue, I currently focus on: * drop-in visits * dog walking * medication visits * structured enrichment walks * pet transport/help with vet visits I’m especially comfortable with dogs that may need a little extra understanding or experience beyond a typical pet sitter/walker. Reliable, communicative, calm, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. I currently work as a program manger for adults with special needs, and manage a small team of individuals. Mornings and evening are best. As well as Tuesdays, and weekends. I do not provide pet care in my own home at this time, but I will gladly come to yours and spend time with your fur babies!

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, and a wide variety of animals. That background allows me to confidently care for pets of all temperaments—from high-energy dogs to those that need extra patience and structure. My home sits on 11 acres, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore and get real exercise not just short walks. I also live a very active lifestyle and make sure every dog gets the movement, playtime, and attention they need to feel happy and comfortable. Your pet won’t just be ‘watched’—they’ll be cared for, exercised, and treated like part of the family. I provide a clean, safe, smoke-free home and send regular updates so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m available every day after 2:30 PM and fully available on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to give consistent attention, exercise, and supervision. I prioritize reliability, so your pet’s schedule stays consistent and stress-free while you’re away. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment on a peaceful 11-acre property. Pets always have plenty of space to explore while remaining supervised. I follow each owner’s specific instructions closely, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I can crate if requested and ensure all animals are separated when needed for safety and comfort.

About: I've been a pet/house sitter for about 10 years, I started when I was a teenager helping my family friends and neighbors to now as an adult. I've grown up my whole life surrounded by animals and I couldn't imagine it any other way. Love connecting with the pets and fellow animal lovers! I do my sitting job full time so I'm available for more attentive care and easy contacting. I do house sit as well if you'd like me to stay with your pet overnight for a peace of mind and comfort of the animals. I don't like to overlap my jobs so that I can give each person and their pets my full attention and presence. I'm always very aware of animals boundaries and environment, wheather that is separate feeding or toy aggression. Taking any necessary walks or have play time to keep their energy and spirits up. Also, I always try to keep everything as you left it. I always clean up after myself and the animals if needed, I'm consistent with any schedule given, and I also give frequent updates including pictures of your pets so you know they're doing good!

About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,740 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Brandon Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brandon Corner. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
