About: My adaptability and attention to detail set me apart. I excel in caring for puppies, including training and socialization, and providing specialized care for senior dogs. As I work from home full-time, I can integrate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I schedule walks and playtime during breaks, ensuring pets receive attention and exercise throughout the day. I'm also available for feeding and other care needs before and after work hours. In my own home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets, ensuring they have access to food, water, and toys. I schedule regular walks and playtime to keep them active and engaged. For client's homes, I follow their specific instructions for feeding, exercise, and any other care needs, maintaining a consistent routine to keep pets happy and healthy while their owners are away.

About: I have done professionally dog sitting since 2022 through Wag. Now I have come here to look for more to save money before graduate school for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and play with dogs. Growing up with a dog of my own and helping many neighbors watch and care for their own pets while on vacation I have lots of experience. I hope to bring the same love and warmth you give to your pets everyday your away. Thanks for welcoming me to your family and allowing me to make a new buddy! I work part time with 4 days a week schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are longer 7am-4pm, but my shorter days are Tuesday and Thursdays from 7am-1pm. I am completely free Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with some small exceptions of youth coaching sports for an hour or so on call. But I will always communicate if the time of your trip aligns with a day I am scheduled to Coach so you are aware of my schedule outside of pet care. I have a small dog named Nilla. She is 13 years young and keeps me on my toes still! But also only on her schedule, otherwise she will sleep all day. She sleeps in the bed with me at night for cuddles but we did used to crate train her when I was off at college. I just like having her near me so I stole her back to the bed.

“When I’m in need of someone to take care of my Daisy, Melanie is my go to pet sitter. My pup is a rescue and has some issues with certain things that scare her. Melanie’s compassion and patience with my Daisy is top notch. I appreciate that she makes sure my pup is always comfortable ( even if it means taking up half the bed!) and in a peaceful environment whenever we leave Daisy with her at her house. And when we had in home animal care, Melanie is very thoughtful not only in making sure our pets are well cared for but our place seems to look better than when we left it! I will always use Melanie for all my pet and or house sitting needs.”

“This was our first experience using Rover.com, and we couldn't have been happier! Our sitter, Elaine, is terrific! Not only did she capture amazing pictures of our two Bengal cats, she even managed to win over Shiloh, who normally runs and hides under the bed whenever a stranger comes into our home. My husband and I could hardly believe our eyes when we watched the video of Shiloh letting Elaine pet her. It was nice, too, to come home to a clean and tidy area where the food dishes are as our cats always like dropping their food on the floor before eating. I highly recommend Elaine.”

In my opinion, being a 'dog person' means tapping into the vibe they send and responding as it's not always about a waggy tail or a dry nose. Blair communicates with dogs better than anyone I've ever met and if I was forced to leave my pet behind then Blair would be the only person I'd call.”

About: Im so excited to be working for you! What a treat to be able to love on your beautiful babies! I enjoy pet sitting so much because just like people, animals have their own personalities and it’s really neat for me to discover them in all the little fur friends I get to meet. I am good natured and loving and your pet will notice that right off the bat. I’m caring and compassionate and you won’t have to worry about your babies while I am there. I enjoy overnight stays because I know it’s important for them to be “at home”. It’s easy for me to feel at home wherever I go! I have a kitty and he stays home and is very content with that. He is a super friendly 15 lb MainCoon that has a very sweet personality. He’s always up for belly rubs. He does not accompany me on any of my stays or visits. I have several families that aren’t on rover that I just love so much. So their reviews aren’t on here. But if you need references, please let me know. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hang out with your fur family and know that you can rest easy knowing they are in good hands, I am open to visits and check ins or even long weekends or vacations. It would be great to come to you. Take a vacation and relax knowing your home and sweet babies are being lovingly cared for. Unfortunately I am unable to board any pets at this time. I don’t have the needed space to accommodate them. Thank you so very much!
