My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. About: I've had two dogs of my own as an adult, grew up with family dogs, and regularly do walks and drop-ins for my neighbor's dog. Both of my boys were brachycephalic breeds, so I understand how much care that takes — I'm especially attentive to heat sensitivity, breathing, and pacing during walks, and I know how to read a dog's signals and adjust accordingly. I've taken several dog training classes, read several books on positive dog training, and understand a dog's body language and signals. I've also cared for both senior and sick dogs, including my English bulldog who lived to 12 and my Frenchie that I supported through IVDD and surgery. I'm currently between jobs at the moment, and both my kids are in school. I'm generally open from 9am to 4pm for drop-ins and walks. About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. When you book with me, you can expect plenty of LOVE, communication, respect for your space, and most importantly…ACCOUNTABILITY. 💛 I work remotely and have plenty of time to share with your furry family members. I love nature and take many walks/hikes as a form of self care. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Collie, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to welcome a dog back into our lives. In 2024, we adopted Izzy, our sweet and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family absolutely loves having Izzy around, and I’d love the opportunity to give your dog that same attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have plenty of companionship throughout the day, along with playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of love. If you prefer I visit your home to check in on your animal, I am happy to do so. I can stay at your home between 9a-2pm M-F or pop in on weeknights and weekends, or you may opt to board them at our home. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door. Dogs staying with us can easily go in and out throughout the day to play, explore, relax in the yard, or come back inside whenever they want. Your dog will be treated like one of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. I’m happy to answer any questions, arrange a meet-and-greet, or even give you a quick tour so you can feel completely comfortable with where your treasured family member will be staying. I’d love to meet you and your pup! ❤️ I work from home and am available every day, all day, to meet your pet's needs. I have a large fenced backyard with a doggie door for potty breaks and play time. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I only host one dog family at a time, I can provide individualized attention and avoid the stress that can come with a home full of unfamiliar animals. We have a clean, non-smoking, kid-friendly home and a large, fully fenced yard. Our doggie door provides supervised-by-presence access between the house and fenced yard, giving your dog the flexibility to go outside for potty breaks or play without having to wait for someone to open the door. Izzy is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, but I will always make introductions thoughtfully and pay close attention to each dog's personality and comfort level. Izzy and other animals are discouraged from being on any furniture. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleep preferences, and any special instructions. You'll also receive daily photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.

He also made sure to give her her meds on time and took care of her hygiene. Totally recommend him for your pet, he's very knowledgeable and resourceful sitter!
