“Michelle regularly does check ins and has done a couple overnights for my pup. She arrives on time, takes great care of my dog, communicates, follow instructions, and sends lots of pics. She is incredibly nice and attentive to my pup and also this nervous dog mom lol. I am very selective in who let care for my gentle giant; I trust Michelle completely and know my baby is in amazing hands. She treats my dog like one of her own, his schedule is followed, and he gets to relax at home with lots of love while I am a way. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! We are grateful for her at our house!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 4 years now! I’m comfortable with staying in your home for overnights or just visiting during the day for walks and play time! Willing to travel to wherever you’re located. I currently have a part-time job, where I work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am able to meet your pet(s) both before and after work, and if I am currently sitting, I make your animals a priority in my routine! Whether you want me at your home or just to stop-in, I will promise you your fur babies will receive excellent care. At this time I can only care for animals at the clients home! I will follow all instructions given to me and I always communicate with the client on a daily basis on how your pets are doing!
“Michelle was a lifesaver when it came to needing a last minute drop in for the holidays! The virtual meet and greet was easy and quick, and she followed all instructions I gave. Our cat was happy and healthy upon our arrival home”

About: I've taken care of dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover. I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. In the meantime, I get my dog fix by taking care of other people's dogs. I will provide exercise and companionship for your dog(s) as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to leave them when you want some time away. I will do my best to keep them on the schedule and routine they are used to.

About: I have owned dogs most of my upbringing and early adulthood. I now have more free time to help others take care of their dogs without worry. I work a part time waitressing job, mostly in the afternoons. So I am free all day long while you are at work. I am able to flex and change my schedule for you! I am free to watch your dogs in your home so your animal knows its environment is safe. I am also free to just pop over and take your dog for a long walk.
About: To me our animals are not just pets they are our family and I will care for them as if they are my own. I recently lost my pup in September of 2024! Not ready to get another one yet but I love every opportunity to spend time with your fur babies! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays but am in office Tuesday-Thursday. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I work from home so I’m fairly flexible on taking potting breaks and what not. I am able to spend the entire day with your pup and they don’t have to be alone! I work from home so your pup typically isn’t left alone at all! I’d make sure they have everything they need for their stay with me.
About: I have had experience caring for many different animals, especially dogs. I have administered medication orally and topically to dogs. I am available a lot and can provide excellent care to your dog(s)! I am reliable, organized, honest, and I am educated as well! I love dogs, taking them for walks in a great pleasure. No matter the weather(safe conditions of course). I have been dog sitting for a family with multiple dogs and I enjoy every day of it. I am there when you need me. Animals are my passion and I would do anything to keep them safe and healthy. Providing care is a great passion of mine and I love meeting new clients and their dogs! I look forward to hearing from you! I work full time Tuesday-Saturday but Sunday and Monday are open. If your animal is ok for 8 hours, I am able to stay at your home during my work week. I ensure the house is clean, so your pet doesn't get into anything they shouldn't be. This is true of pet sitting in my own home, as well as yours. I watch out for any unusual behavior to ensure pet health. I follow the rules given to me by the owner to ensure the pet isn't off schedule and/ or stressed because someone else is around.
“Ellie was very responsive and loving with our two Senior Dogs. She made sure to keep us in the loop with how they were doing and offeedr to add extra visist if we felt they needed it. We look forward to engaging her in the future for all our doggy needs”

About: I've had many dogs of my own so I'm quite personal & I'm always excited to make new animal friends. Having many animals of my own I think sets me aside from others, I love to play and run around with dogs. I also can and will care for other pets or animals if it is necessary, which I also think sets me apart. I'm an athlete too so long walks & everything are not a problem, I enjoy walking and nature so going on walks would be wonderful. I like animal of all sizes. Also by having pets of my own, I understand a lot about dogs and how to care for multiple. I can do more than just play & walk them, I can bathe them & brush & most other hygiene needs.
About: I've been taking care and animal sitting for dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and porcupines for over 8 years. I have most of my experience in house/dog sitting for clients whilst on vacation. However, I also offer dog walking and drop-in services to give meds, refresh food and water, or just stop by to give some attention and butt scratches. I am a huge animal lover and will talk to your pets and take care of them like they are a dear friend. I work 100% remotely from my laptop M-F and have all federal holidays off. My job is mostly independent work therefore I can take breaks, play/go on walks/give attention to your pet(s) frequently. Your pets' safety and ease of mind are a top priority. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own, follow any rules/guidelines provided when interacting with them.
About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats. I have worked at VetIQ pet clinic and Home for Life animal sanctuary, so I have interacted with dogs of all shapes and sizes and temperaments. My dream is to positively add or change animals' lives. So help me help you make your pet's life the best it can be! I am currently working part-time, so my schedule varies. However, if given enough notice in advance, I can make sure to have the time off. I am also looking to make pet care my main source of income. So hopefully my time will become much more open. Right now I only have a cat who is indoor only. He needs to grow a little more before I am able to take him outside. We have a small fenced in yard, but there are multiple walking trails close to the house. Any questions you have, just ask. I know we can figure out if I am the right fit to care for your pet.
About: My main hobby is that I love to go for walks & enjoy nature. That hobby is made even more enjoyable with a furry friend accompanying me. Dogs are such a gift to our world, I believe in treating them as such. I would love the opportunity to be friends with your pet, offering them quality care, fun, affection, & well-rounded attention upon the occasions that you (their most special human/s), are unavailable to them. I work from home most days. I am also available on weekends to have your family member at my house or come see them at yours. I am available for over night guests. I live on 3 acres so I do not have a fence. I do allow animals on the furniture if that’s what you want. Excited to play

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
