About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for pets with diverse personalities, health conditions, and behavioral needs. I have helped care for a Husky for nine years, managing health challenges and providing consistent, patient care. I also care for rescued cats and have experience pet sitting cats that require special attention around other animals. I focus on building trust, following routines, and ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I care for my own cats every day and have experience providing care for both dogs and cats through feeding, playtime, exercise, medication schedules when needed, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate time to walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting while ensuring each pet receives attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection. When caring for pets, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, administering basic care instructions, and giving pets plenty of attention and companionship. I pay close attention to each pet's behavior, health, and comfort level and provide regular updates to owners. My goal is to ensure pets receive safe, reliable, and compassionate care while maintaining the environment and routine they are accustomed to. With a spacious house, I easily can keep my two cats away if a pet doesn’t enjoy their presence. Though my cats are lovers of all, I understand if other pets aren’t the same.

About: My parents got a cat when I was a baby. When I was a teenager we got a second cat, when I moved out I got two cats, pretty much had two ever since. I always wanted a dog growing up, didn't get one until I was 27, a Husky/Shepard, I didn't know how much I actually needed him. Since then I've always had at least one dog in my home. I had volunteered with the wood county humane society for years. Two foster fails! Being with dogs feeds my soul. Being paid would be a nice bonus. Available for boarding any night of the week. Currently working part time so they won't be alone much. Play time, walks and cuddles are included. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run, big tree with shade and some hostas to play in. Dogs are welcome anywhere in our house, the couches, chairs, multiple beds available if you dont have your own. Dogs do get crated at night, or when left alone as ours do.

About: Hi! I'm Rebekah. I'm new to Rover, but caring for animals is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I've owned and cared for my own dachshunds my whole life, so I'm experienced with dogs that need a little extra patience and attention. Because of that, I'm comfortable following detailed instructions, administering medications if needed, and making sure every part of your pet's routine is followed exactly as requested. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I offer 15–30 minute walks and drop-in visits, and I never cut a visit short. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medications, or just some extra love and attention, I'm happy to help. I'm very responsive and keep my phone nearby, so you can expect quick communication and updates while your pet is in my care. I also respect your home and belongings and will always leave everything just as I found it. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! I offer 15–30 minute dog walks, drop-in visits, potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and companionship. My availability is generally between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM into the evening, making it easy to provide midday and afternoon care. My schedule works well around my job at a dance studio, and I'm happy to provide multiple visits throughout the day when needed. I make sure every pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I work part time at a dance studio around the corner from from my residence so it is easy for me to come and go throughout the day! I can care for your pet at your home to play with them, feed them, walk them and more etc… I will not be doing overnights but can let them out or care for them multiple times a day!

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs and cats! I volunteer at a local shelter and have been around the shy, sick, and old of both dogs and cats. Im very brave and confident when handling them and will not fail in caring for even the unfriendliest of animals. One of my cats at home has special needs pertaining to hydration, so, your pets with specific medical care will be taken care of 100% adequately! As I understand the fear in being a parent to a sick furbaby. I’m currently an unemployed student, so, while I am home for the summer, I have infinite time to play with your fluffy loved ones :). All of my cats are indoor only, I have never and will never hit my pets, and my dogs were always entertained and well fed. I think providing your animals with love, attention, nutrition, and safety are the most important things going on in my home.

Erin B. has been walking our large dog for several weeks. Our dog gets so excited when she knows Erin is coming as they have a great time. She even waits for her on days that are not scheduled for walking. Erin can deal with our dog's anxiety issues and tendency to veer around. Erin is an excellent communicator with me, and has just been wonderful for our dog. We are very glad we have connected with her. Thanks!

Easy to communicate with! Abigail came twice to let Dani out. Since it was raining, I asked her to just play with Dani. This was my first Rover experience and I would definitely do it again! Great job, Abigail!

About: I am a sitter and walker who is very patient with all dogs, especially energetic ones. I love all animals, and because I am an athlete, I have lots of energy, so if your dog wants to run while we walk and play, I happily will! If they do not, I am always calm as well and will be patient with your dog. I walk my dog Charlie every day, and I also walk my sister's dog, Finn. I am always happy to go outside and get some fresh air. I play with Charlie as much as I can until he’s tired (which is literally never), and I always make sure he’s got plenty of water.

Lauren is awesome with my dogs. Shes always very sweet to them and notifies me if their tummies are upset. She even helped clean up a mess so I wouldn't step in it when I got home. Her and her family have been such a great help. I can't say enough positive things.

  • 86% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
