Vivien stepped in at the last minute and took awesome care of our mischievous pup! Our 50 pound pup refused to go into her crate and Vivien managed to pick her up and gave her some love.❤️

Abbi is amazing. My dog is afraid of everyone, but she loves Abbi. Abbi is such a sweet, warm person and a joy to have as our dog walker. She has even stayed at our house several time and has made me feel so comfortable that I did not even worry about leaving.

About: I have recent hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments in professional settings. I also have a lifetime of experience as a dog and cat owner and lover! As a doggy daycare employee, I've safely managed groups of dogs in daycare, supervised structured play, monitored body language to prevent conflicts, and provided individualized care based on each dog's needs and personality. I also work as a dog handler for a professional goose management company, where I handle border collies in outdoor environments while maintaining focus, safety, and reliable leash skills around wildlife, distractions, and changing conditions. This work has strengthened my confidence handling energetic working dogs in public spaces. My experience includes: - Supervising group play and monitoring canine body language - Individual walks and exercise - Feeding, fresh water, and medication support with instructions - Cleaning kennels and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment - Crate rotations and rest breaks - Reinforcing good manners with positive interactions - Caring for puppies, senior dogs, and high-energy breeds I love every dog like it is my own and am ready to take care of your loved one when needed! My schedule is generally very flexible! I do have a few shorter recurring commitments during the weekdays, but I have availability before and after them, as well as on evenings and weekends. If you're looking for care on a specific day or time, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to work with you to find something that fits both of our schedules whenever possible. I always try to keep pets on the routine they're most comfortable with. Whether I'm in your home or caring for your pet during a walk or drop-in visit, I'll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any special needs or preferences. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and relaxed while you're away. My professional experience in dog daycare has taught me to pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual personalities. Some dogs want to play nonstop, while others just want a calm companion and a good walk. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection while also keeping safety my top priority. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I've always had animals growing up, many of them were rescues directly from the streets. I've spent over 20 years tending to a variety of animals from wolves, coyote, large snakes, to less exotic: dogs, cats , ferrets, and birds. Lately my focus has been on cats. I'm comfortable and experienced in grooming, bathing, medicating (oral medications and inhalers), and feeding both dogs and cats on a timed schedule. I also have a lot of experience walking larger, stronger dog breeds. I'm familiar with all stages of life care for cats and dogs, and I pride myself on going the extra mile to improve their lives. I am currently not working a salaried job, but instead helping my fiance with her business, so I will be readily available to help you when you need it. All instructions given to me about your home or family will be followed exactly as directed, and any concerns will be immediately communicated to make sure everyone is and stays comfortable.

About: Hi there! I'm Kristie, a lifelong animal lover. I've had pets since I was a kid. This includes bunnies, cats, a dog, hamsters, a ferret, and many others. I'm always happiest when I'm surrounded by fuzzy friends. We have recently welcomed a dog into our family. She has taught me all about playtime, patience, and puppy energy. She is the extra family member that I never knew I needed until now! I spent a year working at a local cat shelter where I cared for dozens of cats and even adopted a few myself! I still visit often just to give the kitties some extra love and attention, in hopes that it will help them find their furever homes. I treat every pet like part of my own family because that's what they are to me. Family members. I am gentle, loving, and attentive. I also love to be active and playful when your pups ready for fun. Whether it's a relaxing snuggle, a long walk, or an overnight stay, your pet will get reliable care, comfort and plenty of affection while you're away. Boarded dogs will be introduced on leash and kept close to me until mood, temperament, and potty skills are safely evaluated. All dogs will be fed separately away from each other for safety. I do ask that dogs can be crated for night time and alone time when we have to leave the home. I am currently working part-time. So I am available early afternoons and weekends to take in or check in on your furry babies. I'm also available mornings and evenings for home check ins and walks. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your pets, and I take that responsibility to heart. When your dog or cat is with me, they’re treated just like one of my own—with love, patience, and attention to every detail. For boarding, I make sure pets have a safe, cozy, and welcoming space where they can relax and feel at home. I keep things calm and consistent so they stay comfortable and happy. During house sitting, I respect your home as if it were my own and make sure your pets stick to their usual routines, keeping everything familiar and stress-free. When we’re out for walks, I always prioritize safety—using secure leashes, staying alert, and giving dogs the right mix of fun and structure. I’m careful, gentle, and always tuned in to how your pet is feeling. You’ll get regular updates and pictures because I know how much peace of mind it brings to see your furry family happy and cared for while you’re away. ❤️

About: Hi! I’m Katy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an animal lover. I always brought the cats home from school with me and cared for my grandpa’s chickens as a kid. I have 6+ years experience of working in a vet ward caring for others animals. Our home knows no shortage of love as we have 14 cats, 10 chickens, and our dog. When you choose me, you can be certain you’ve chosen dependable, caring, protective, and proactive. I will always have your fur baby’s best interest in mind and will never hesitate to reach out if needed. I’m currently a home maker who spends most of her free time caring for her own animals. I’ve got more than enough love to share with your fur baby as well! When you hire me, you can expect quality care. Your dog/s will have plenty of time to stretch their legs. All animals will have a fresh, clean water and food bowl, and a clean space. You can expect the litter box to be cleaned and topped with fresh litter, scooped litter to be disposed of, and the floor around the litter box to be swept up.

I have a broken foot and cannot walk my senior dog Dusty. I was leery to hire someone I didn't know. Mark was amazing with Dusty !. He got right down on the floor to greet and play with him. He even coaxed Dusty to take a longer walk. I highly recommend him for his positive and eager approach to dogs.

Qianna did a nice job walking Meeko. She showed up every day. She was even willing to walk Meeko in the rain, but we rescheduled for a dry day. Qianna kept me informed about the walks with pictures and a short statement on a Rover Card after each outing. Meeko would get so excited when Qianna arrived for the walks. She became Meeko’s friend very quickly. I would have Qianna care for Meeko in the future.. Thanks for the walks~ Meeko

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
