“Fenway's stay with Cindy went great! We appreciate how much attention she has on sticking to his normal routine. We were able to bring his crate, toys, food/water bowls no problem. Drop off and pick up went smoothly. I LOVED getting pictures of him, he looked so happy. We will definitely be utilizing Cindy's boarding services when we go out of town, highly recommend!”

“we’re very happy with our experience! our dog was well cared for and comfortable. kristie sent frequent updates, which was nice. we would definitely rebook!”

“Zurijanne is so amazing just so sweet and loving and that is reflected in her sweet fur babies! My hima has such fun play mates and looked so comfy and happy! She kept me updated and reassured me since it’s my babies first sleepover without me!”

“Lisa is so incredibly sweet and upbeat and knowledgeable about animals! She was always communicative and was willing to be flexible when my travel was impacted out of my control. My dog Scoobie adores her and loves her house and it’s amazing she has a backyard and plenty of room to play ball with my little one inside! Will be booking again.”

“Our dog had a great stay with Allan and his family. He was flexible, sent daily updates and photos, and our pup came home happy, stress free, and healthy. We would have our dog stay with Allan again anytime.”

“Jennifer has been very professional and on the top of everything, including keeping me updated with pictures and sending me timely text updates. Her diligence and communication has been excellent.”

“We had a last minute trip and Beth wasn’t just accommodating a last minute request, she was accommodating the first time our buddy ever stayed somewhere he hadn’t been before. He was anxious at a new place but Beth was great and provided updates. Ardem ended up making great new friends and we were able to enjoy a night knowing he was in good hands. I would highly recommend. Thanks Beth! 🐾”

“Ashley and her family were the best! It was a last minute decision and she accommodated my two fur babies with no issues. They can look intimidating and people aren’t always comfortable but Ashley was unfazed. I appreciated her warmth, her communication and her love for my animals. We will definitely be using her whenever we come back “home”.”

“Bazinga looked so happy staying at Rachel’s for the weekend. From the pictures she shared and the regular updates I could tell he was well taken care of. The only problem I had is that he didn’t look like he wanted to come home after a fun weekend playing with his new friends. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend Rachel. We don’t travel a lot but I’m sure we’ll be back when we do.”

“Jayden and his wife Lisa are amazing dog sitters. I left my dog Buddy with them over two weeks while flying outside of the country. They we're very flexible and attentive to all of my requests, and promptly communicated any changes with him while in their care. Buddy and their dog Redford became fast friends and Buddy quite clearly loved spending time with their kids, making a bed out of their trampoline. It was so nice to get updates and see just how much fun they had with him. Buddy says hi and thanks again!”

“Lillian and Jeremy are excellent sitters to my dog Smokey! They are always my number one choice everytime I leave town. My dog Smokey loves them and their two lovely dogs that are his friends now! They are excellent communicators and are very prompt with responding, and they also send me picture updates of my pet. I will continue to rebook with them!”

“Kristin was perfect for our quiet shy dog. It was a first time using any dog sitting service, so my recommendation is meet more than one sitter and trust your gut and heart. Our dog was very comfortable with Kristin and her house/surroundings when we met, and she ate her food the first morning of her stay so I knew she was happy. Thank you, Kristin, for providing this service to other dog owners🥰”

“Debra is awesome, we've used her dog-sitting services more than once, and we'd use her again if we still lived in the area. You can't go wrong dropping your dog off with her. Huge yard, loves dogs, etc...”

“Paige was absolutely fantastic! I am so relieved to have found such a wonderful alternative to kenneling my dog. They took excellent care of my dog, Rosco and were so friendly and nice to work with. I would absolutely recommend Paige 1000%.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oregon
Kristal took very good care of our 3 pups while on a cruise. She was flexible with our schedule when we decided to drive to Florida instead of fly which caused us to need to extend our booking which she did without hesitation.Even though Kristal knew that I wouldn’t be reachable during our 7 day cruise she still made sure to send updated & pictures for me to see once I was back online. Of course our pups were very happy to see us, they went right back to their normal behavior without missing a beat which tells me they were treated well while in Kristal’s care. We would deff recommend her to others & will use her in the future.

Abbi was the absolute best sitter I could've wished for. Shes amazing and has the biggest heart. She communicated with me daily, gave me updates, asked any questions she wasnt sure about. I would absolutely highly recommend her. She is one and only sitter that I will use from here on out. Shes trustworthy, responsible, communative,i cant say enough good things about her. She is the best and you will absolutely fall in love with her the minute you meet her and so will your pet. Max is really going to miss her. Thank you Abbi,I will be in touch for future bookings and I pray youre available!!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
