Hi there! I'm Kristie, a lifelong animal lover. I've had pets since I was a kid. This includes bunnies, cats, a dog, hamsters, a ferret, and many others. I'm always happiest when I'm surrounded by fuzzy friends. We have recently welcomed a dog into our family. She has taught me all about playtime, patience, and puppy energy. She is the extra family member that I never knew I needed until now! I spent a year working at a local cat shelter where I cared for dozens of cats and even adopted a few myself! I still visit often just to give the kitties some extra love and attention, in hopes that it will help them find their furever homes. I treat every pet like part of my own family because that's what they are to me. Family members. I am gentle, loving, and attentive. I also love to be active and playful when your pups ready for fun. Whether it's a relaxing snuggle, a long walk, or an overnight stay, your pet will get reliable care, comfort and plenty of affection while you're away. Boarded dogs will be introduced on leash and kept close to me until mood, temperament, and potty skills are safely evaluated. All dogs will be fed separately away from each other for safety. I do ask that dogs can be crated for night time and alone time when we have to leave the home.

I can’t say enough good things about my experiences. This was the second time Kristie and family have watched Reginald and it won’t be the last. From the amazing communication to integrating Reggie into their family, I have no qualms about leaving my pup with them. Reggie came home happy and loved, and the documentation provided throughout the 2 week stay shows that. 10/10, 5 stars, I can’t say enough positive things!
Kristie was able to provide doggie day care on short notice. We needed someone to watch our black lab while we attended a memorial service. Kristie was very flexible in accommodating our drop off/pick up schedule.

Max had a great stay with Kristie and her family. They took good care of him. Kristie kept in contact with me sending updates, photos and videos. Max had a few days when he wasn’t feeling good. Kristie contacted me right away and dealt with the situation appropriately. Max is looking forward to his next stay in the future.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time. So I am available early afternoons and weekends to take in or check in on your furry babies. I'm also available mornings and evenings for home check ins and walks.

For boarding, I make sure pets have a safe, cozy, and welcoming space where they can relax and feel at home. I keep things calm and consistent so they stay comfortable and happy. During house sitting, I respect your home as if it were my own and make sure your pets stick to their usual routines, keeping everything familiar and stress-free. When we’re out for walks, I always prioritize safety—using secure leashes, staying alert, and giving dogs the right mix of fun and structure. I’m careful, gentle, and always tuned in to how your pet is feeling. You’ll get regular updates and pictures because I know how much peace of mind it brings to see your furry family happy and cared for while you’re away. ❤️

A typical day
I love to make sure pets have plenty of stimulation and exercise. Hide and seek is my favorite. If your pup is receptive to it, we will have a lot of fun 😊
