About: I’ve grown up around countless dogs and pets. My aunt works in a rescue and growing up I spent a great amount of free time there with her. Helping her and playing with all the animals was a huge part of my childhood. I also help my girlfriend out who is a full time pet sitter her self. We do overnight sittings for dogs of different breeds, ages and size. I also have experience with cats! We have just added one to our Furry Family. I can run walk or jog. If your pet has a favorite park we can go there too. I’m here for all your needs! I am currently working as an independent contractor with a schedule that allows complete flexibility in my schedule. I get to choose my own hours and all of the work is possible regardless of location. I also won’t have any surprise changes to availability or sudden work emergencies. The care provided would be as if it was for my own pet. Animals deserve respect regardless who’s home they are at. High or low maintenance those needs will be met.

I grew up on a farm in clovis as well as a farm in Oregon where I took care of the animals we had. About: I have been a pet sitter for nearly as long as I can remember - I started as the go-to neighborhood pet sitter/dog walker, and the rest has been history! I am always so excited to meet a new animal and learn how best to meet their needs. I am also an ornithologist, so in addition to pets, I have a great amount of experience handling wild animals, and even have been trained in raptor handling and care! “Where do I even begin?! John has been a godsend to my Pitty, Aubrey and I. The moment he met Aubrey on our meet and greet, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was comfortable, which made me comfortable! Not only has John watched Aubrey, but he’s taken the extra time and care to teach and train her. I can tell he has a real love for animals, as well as being very personable, professional, and compassionate to towards Aubrey’s needs. Aubrey was rescued at 3 months old and has developed some aggression issues with other dogs, so she is not an easy one to walk at times. She also was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur and underwent a pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty, which John has been very mindful off. John has exceeded my expectations with knowledge and tools to help me help my furchild. 😊 John even brought high grade treats from home to help train Aubrey. He’s been dependable and consistent. He sends amazing photos and videos throughout the day. 10/10, highly recommend. Will be working with John as long as we can. :)”

I have an open schedule, and I try to be as accommodating as possible. I grew up with what I feel is almost every type of animal imaginable, so nothing gets past me. I have also grown up around many litters of puppies, so I have experience bottle-feeding and attending to needs. I also have dealt with animals diagnosed with dementia and other health problems they just need a little extra love and time is all! I also have handled disabled pets including missing appendages and paralysis. I love being able to give pets the attention and time they need and deserve while the owners can be worry-free. Dog breeds I cannot watch in my home are pit bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, chow chows, and wolf hybrids. This is just part of the navy’s housing policies. Pet care is my priority! I currently don’t have a job since I just moved to this area a couple of months ago so I am completely available to give furry friends the attention they need. About: My work with animals started when I was just 10 years old, volunteering at a family friend’s dog daycare. What began as a childhood passion turned into over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and temperaments! Over the years, I’ve worked at several dog daycares, volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, completed an internship at a nonprofit feline shelter and spay/neuter clinic, and worked as an Animal Control Officer. Having such a diverse household has given me extensive experience with different species, personalities, care requirements, and the importance of safely managing a multi-animal home. Our home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore. We also have spare bedrooms, extra crates and kennels, baby gates, and designated spaces that allow us to accommodate different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. Food, medications, cleaning supplies, and other potentially hazardous items are kept securely stored to prevent accidental ingestion. Pets are supervised during outdoor activities and interactions with other animals, and we never force introductions or allow unsupervised interactions between resident pets and guests. Our own dogs are crate-trained, which allows us to safely separate everyone whenever necessary. One of the biggest benefits of our household is that someone is almost always home! On the rare occasion we both need to step out, we make sure every animal is safely secured in an appropriate space. I’m also happy to accommodate crate routines, feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions your pet may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I take the same approach while respecting their established routines and environment. I make sure doors and gates are secured, food and medications are handled appropriately, and pets receive the attention, exercise, and supervision they’re accustomed to.
