“We have been using Kara for a few weeks now for dog walks and she has been great. We have 2 pit bull breeds with a combined weight of 130lbs. Kara has done a fantastic job walking them both and we feel comfortable with her to handle them when they get excited. She is timely and communicative which we appreciate!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, attention, and adaptability I bring to every pet I look after. I treat each animal like they’re my own, which means taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work fulltime but weekends I am fully available! I love animals and always have since I was little. Growing up we’ve always have had dogs and cats. I have a fenced yard and we have plenty of room for the dogs to run around. I do also have a pug that is 6 years old but he is super friendly.
“My dog has given her paw & wags of approval to ReShan. As a rescue, she takes her time to give trust & affection, & she has given both to ReShan. He has helped with walking & boarding my dog, who is large, strong & not well-trained. ReShan has her walking nice on the leash, giving me hope that I can also achieve it. He treats us both with love & respect. I am so thankful for his involvement in our lives. Thank you, ReShan, for your loving care of my best buddy.”

I take the wellbeing of any animals in my care with utmost care and compassion and will happily care for any under my care with love and their wellbeing in mind! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
