“Betty loves Kaleigh so much and Kaleigh is a trooper for taking our girl out in the cold to make sure she gets her walks in!!! I have such peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands while we travel”

“Michael was so amazing with our dog & cat. He sent us lots of pictures of our fur babies while we were away, took our dog on walks, for car rides & administered her daily medication. Michael was so flexible & understanding of my obsessive dog mom requests. We are so grateful to have had his help & will absolutely be having him sit for us again!”

About: Dogs, big or small I love them all! I've been happily dog sitting for 10+ years and have extended my services via Rover. Unless you object I will walk your fur baby 1-2 times each day (depending on temps) allowing him/her to sniff out the neighborhood news. I am retired so your fur baby won't be alone for long periods of time. I've volunteered as a dog walker at Pima Animal Care Center PACC for 2+ years so I've had plenty of experience handling dogs who may be stressed due to an interruption in their daily routine. I believe when you give a dog love, respect and direction you'll have a loyal friend for life! I'm looking forward to temporarily taking care of your best friend! I am an early riser so I can walk the dogs before the sidewalks heat up and again at sunset giving them the opportunity to sniff around. I am retired so dogs are not left alone for long periods of time Over the last few years I've cared for more than 65 dogs (many different breeds) and I've loved them all! From Chihuahuas to Pitties. From Jack Russells to Rottweilers, from Toy Poodles to Goldendoodles they're all so loveable.
About: I have loved animals since I was a small child. I got my first cat over 15 years ago and still love her dearly. My parents wouldn’t allow me to have a dog so I had to wait until I moved out when I was 20. After buying my house I rescued my neighbors dog that was permanently locked up in an outdoor kennel. Unfortunately she already had Lyme disease so it was for less than a year that I was able to give her a good quality of life. I then adopted my ex-coworkers German Shepard who was 5. Unfortunately despite all my efforts to have her live longer than her lifespan I lost her years later due to paralyzing seizures. Not too long after that I sold my house and have not been stable enough to get another dog due to my constant traveling. I love dogs and want to have another but can’t make a life long commitment at this time. However I can make a day/week/month long commitment to take care of your loved dog. It would be a pleasure to take care of your fur baby/babies. I work from home so I’m only gone for a couple/few hours out of the day to go to the gym and maybe grocery shop. I frequently go on walks when the weather permits and would love to bring your dog with me. If you have a dog who pulls as hard as they can I do prefer that you have a gentle leader. I am available all days and times when I am not traveling. I have a large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. I do have two cats who have lived with dogs before. If watching your loved pet I ask for details on what your expectations are to insure that you are 100 percent satisfied with my care for your fur baby.
About: I've been pet-sitting on and off since high school. I love dogs and cats equally, and have experience with senior dogs as well. I've even taken care of bunnies and lizards! In late 2019 I moved to a place that doesn't allow pets. I deeply love animals and miss having them in my life because our animals become part of our families. I'm beyond excited to return to Rover and get to know your furry family members. You'll see I'm highly attentive to your instructions and the needs of your animal, and will keep up steady communication to give you peace of mind. Let's chat! My day job is part-time, Mon-Fri 9-2, so I'm available throughout the week and on weekends! Routines are important to animals, so I'll do my best to stop in at consistent times while you're gone. I understand separation anxiety from a senior poodle named Ruby who really missed her person. She also sundowned in her final days. Spending overnights with animals helps reassure them they aren't alone, and keeps the house looking lived-in while you're gone.
About: I have taken care of animals and pets since I was young. Growing up, we had puppies, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. With my children we had guinea pigs, hamsters, and cats. I currently work full time but I have a full hour for lunch to stop by and care for your pets. I can do drop ins or stay at your house, whatever is needed to make sure your pet is safe and loved. I have two cats at my house. They are well loved and follow me everywhere. I make sure they have nutritious food and clean water always. I have helped with dogs, making sure they are safe when out walking. I make sure they are given the right amounts of food and always have water. As a pet lover, I want to give them companionship, love, and security while their "parents" are away.
About: I have over ten years of animal care experience. From senior dogs and cats to puppies and kittens, I am patient, responsible, and fun. I would love to give your fur baby some love and appreciate your trust in me. I am free on all weekends and holidays. I do work an 8 hour shift monday through friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm. I walk daily so having a companion with me fits in perfectly. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly cat. I go on daily walks myself so having a fur companion with me would be something I would love!
“Natalie did a wonderful job caring for our three dogs. They were happy to see her when she arrived on time, and they enjoyed their time together. Natalie kept us updated with photos and videos, so we could see how well the dogs were being cared for. We’ll definitely have her watch our dogs again.”

About: I am a dog lover who is passionate about treating your pets as if they were my own. I have had dogs all of my life. I will put your mind at ease while watching your pets and follow any instructions to a tee! Message me with any questions or details. I am free for overnight care, drop-ins & walks as needed during the week. I work full time from home so I have some flexibility. I can stay at your home or drop-in. Happy to follow any routines you have set. Meet & greets encouraged! Feel free to reach out with any details to see if we’re a good fit.
“Plachette is amazing. She did a fantastic job staying at our house for a week and watching our bernedoodle, Stormy. They really bonded and I can’t wait for her to watch Stormy again, as I know she will have the best care possible.”

“Autumn did fantastic staying in my home with my dog and cat! She was on time, checked in with me, sent lots of pics, and was very responsive the entire time. I felt comfortable with her taking care of my house and pets. My cat got her medication as needed and my dog got plenty of walks and attention. I booked her again shortly after the first stay. Highly recommend Autumn to take care of your babies!”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing!! She spent quality time with Millie and kept me posted throughout the sitting on how Millie was doing. She went above and beyond to accommodate our sitting needs and last minute booking. I was able to enjoy my trip with absolutely no worries!!! 🥰 Millie and I have definitely made a great friend and will ask Nancy to care for Millie many more times!! Thank you so much for loving our Millie as much as we do !! 💞”

“Christina was wonderful! Our diabetic dog requires daily injections and and a strict diet. She took excellent care of him and our other dog. We can't back to everything as we left it and two healthy, happy pups!”

“Lauren took amazing care of my pets and always kept me updated! Loved receiving photos of my babies while I was gone. She truly listened to me about their little quirks, medications, and what works best for them while we are gone and really followed through! Super easy to talk to and get a hold of! Would 100% refer and will be booking again”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Boquet
Alexia was wonderful about communicating with us while we were away and sending photos of the dogs throughout the day. She was patient and understand when the dogs were unsettled from a storm and kept in contact with us throughout. She made sure they got their nightly treats and medications. We will definitely continue to utilize her services when we travel.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,348 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Boquet. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boquet walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boquet maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boquet choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boquet. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
