She has a sweet pup of her own and on the morning we dropped off my Harley, Alexis was also taking care of another dog for a few days. At first she had the other dogs outside knowing my dog is a little afraid of other dogs, but brought them in one at a time to introduce to Harley so he wouldn't be afraid and overwhelmed when he first arrived. Alexis was very warm and welcoming to Harley and during the day she contacted me just to assure me Harley was doing well and sent me a couple of photos of him. Alexis also took Harley for walks and knowing he gets seperation anxiety he went on a little outing with her...In the end Harley was a happy dog and I would definitely have Alexis take care of him again!!!”

About: I LOVE dogs and cats. I have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life of all breeds and sizes. From over night stays, to just a quick check in I will be available for any need your dog(s) may have. Activities I enjoy most with dogs- walks, inside & outside playtime, and doggy cuddles. I am willing travel to reach you around the Dickson/ Hickman County areas. I am also willing to take dogs to appointments/dog parks in my car so I am versatile and mobile. I try my hardest to be flexible with my schedule to be available at different times as much as possible. No dog is too small or too big. No dog is too young or old. Trust me to take care of your dog care needs. Please note I don't mind dropping in to help with cats and walking cats also. Just due to allergies I cannot have them in my own home. I work from home and my husband and I are home most nights and weekends. So, he will be around your animals as well in our home. Any drop in visits and walking I will be handling myself. We have two (female) dogs of our own who require medications and extra care. So, we are familiar with routines for dogs with special needs/ requests as well. I have also had dogs in my care from newborn puppies to senior dogs. So, I am used to furry friends of all ages and sizes. In home we have two (female) dogs of our own who get along great with other dogs. Our home offers a fenced in back yard so dogs can hangout outside or inside. There are various dog beds throughout and an extra room to allow for personal space, alone, and quiet time. Going to other's homes I stay mindful of a dog's or cat's space and preferences, as well as clients personal property. I also have access to nearby dog parks and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk dogs for extra exercise as well.

We are located on a 16 acre farm and also have a huge fenced yard where our boarding building is. The indoor suite building is about 70 feet from our home where we have clear direct view on the dogs at all times. it is located in a lush green grass area, well maintained and beautiful. Dogs have access to spacious outdoor runs and spacious indoor suites that are climate controlled. The outdoor dog runs are cleaned and maintained 3 times a day. Outdoor dog runs have 6' tall chain link fence that can secure an escape artist. We were told by our clients how pleased they are with the clean and comfortable environment the dogs are kept in. We house up to 8 dogs at a time, therefore your dog will be in relaxed, non chaotic environment which is private and non commercial and they will be getting the most attention as a result.

I have two doodles that are extremely laid back, lazy yet playful, and friendly. They love other dogs and they also get along great with cats! I am active and spend most of my weekends outside.
