About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: I have taken care of a lot of animals. I’ve had exotic animals, cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of senior dogs while also taking care of four week old puppies I will always make sure your animals are treated as if they were my own and make sure they get all the love and attention that is needed. I’m currently only working afternoons so I am available in the morning but I can normally drop in twice a day if needed. For housesitting, I will make sure your house is clean and tidy when I leave and make sure your animal is well taken care of I will make sure your dog stays on their schedule and has adequate time outside. I will love on your fur babies and keep them safe while you are out of town.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up around dogs, and cats. I love being with animals. I was always the one that my family or friends called when they needed someone to walk, feed or bathe their pets when out of town or stuck at work longer than expected. I currently have 3 large dogs, a female German Shepard mix, a male brindled mutt,a yr old male German Shepard. I also have 2 very chatty orange tabby cats. All of which are rescues. I’m currently working part time from home, so I have all the time to care for your pets! I am free to house sit, take your pups for a walk during the day or even just pop in to check in on them. Nothing is as nice as being able snuggle with your furry ones. I want to be able to help you by taking care of your pets as if they were my own. Be assured they will get all the pets and snuggles while you are gone. I will follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible. If the pets are use to sleeping the room with you, I do not mind staying in the room with them if you prefer, otherwise the guest room is perfectly fine.

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I house-sit and pet-sit for several family friends and relatives. I'm experienced with all kinds of animals. I've owned a very wide array of animals throughout my life, all the way from farm animals to reptiles, fish, rodents and everything in-between. My favorite animal is dogs of all kinds, but I can take care of other animals. I can do all kinds of medications and any special cares needs that your baby might need. I work from home and make my own schedule so I'm always available to host animals, house-sit animals, or just stop by for play time and potty time as frequently as needed. I have a fur baby of my own who is just over 3 years old and she loves other dogs. I have a fenced in yard where your fur babies can run and play freely. My baby is crate trained but can also be trusted to be left out. We let our dogs get on the furniture and sleep in the bed with us.

I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I'm happy to provide energetic pets with plenty of exercise while also respecting the needs of senior pets or those who prefer a slower pace. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family and keep owners updated with messages and photos so they have peace of mind while they're away.

About: I have always had a deep passion for animals, which began in childhood when I was thrilled to be old enough to walk my grandparents’ dogs. For the past four years, I’ve also had the joy of being a cat mom, which has further strengthened my appreciation for the love and care that pets bring into our lives. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 10 years, so caring for them is second nature to me. From daily walks to long hikes, I understand their energy, needs, and personalities. Spending time outdoors with dogs has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to keep them safe, happy, and stimulated. I am currently a self-employed seamstress, and work part time for my dad’s business Bham Services. I have lots of time and availability to care for your pets as well as mine. I know it can make our babies nervous meeting new people/furry friends so I make sure to keep a gentle approach. I’ll have them sniff me and get to know me as I get to know them as well. I’m very aware of my surroundings and always want any animal to feel safe around me.

About: I’ve taken care of hundreds of dogs over the past 2 years, all of different ages and sizes, with different needs. From walking, transporting, playing, supervising playtime, cuddling, cleaning, and assisting those in need, I am capable of doing just about anything you need for your fur baby. (Worked at Greymont kennel services and Chasing Tail Pet Farm, have done pet sitting off of rover, and have owned multiple dogs of different age/size, with different limitations) I have a very flexible schedule, but I do have to be available for school drop off and pick up. (0700 then again at 1500) In your home, your pets comfort and safety are a top priority, as is respecting your space. Your home will always be left as it was found if not better, and your pets won’t be lonely with me around!
