About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was 9. Neighbors have relied on me to care for their cat while away for work. Friends have called on me to feed, walk and care for their dog on weekends. And I have worked professionally with dogs, cats and goats since 2017, having also been entrusted with bathing them and giving necessary medication. I'm currently working full time which gives me plenty of time to play with your pups or kitties in the evenings or weekends. I am free most weekdays after 6:30pm and am flexible on weekends. I care for my pets by having adequate food and water always available. I do crate dogs if needed, but follow the lead of the owner. I try to keep a clean space and give lots of love to all pets involved.

It’s a repeating cycle—7 days on, 7 days off—so every other week I’m either working or completely off I pet sit because I genuinely love what I do — and animals love me back. Their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. When pets stay with me in my home, they become part of the family. I make sure every animal is well-fed, always has fresh water, and most importantly — plenty of playtime and affection. They get a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel right at home. About: Hi, my name is Lauren! I have experience working with a wide variety of working dogs, so I understand the multifaceted care that comes with monitoring and mitigating stress, animal behavior, administering dog first aid and medications, providing fun enrichment and exercise for your pup! As someone who has a senior dog, I am well-versed in accommodating special diets and other habitual needs that your furry friend requires! I will look after them as if they were my own. I currently work part-time that has some flexibility in the mornings and evenings. I don’t work a typical 9-5, weekday kind of job so there’s a chance I can help out while you’re at work! I have a spacious apartment (with big windows to look out of) that is close by to a few parks. I like to take long walks to ensure a proper potty break for your dog, while also providing time for sniffing and exploring. In others homes, I am very respectful of boundaries and following instructions: cleaning up messes that are made, etc. I can also water your plants!

About: I’ve grown up with family pets and have had a handful of my own. Dogs are the way to my heart but I have experiences with cats and even farm animals too. I am fortunate to be in charge of my schedule and am somewhat flexible most days. I can come/go as needed for the most part in the Cool Springs area anytime during my work week hours (Tues- Sat 9-4) and of course anytime outside of that I can travel wherever needed. I have a large fenced in yard perfect for the pups to play. I have a young and playful mini wienie and an older laid back black lab (former service dog).

About: Hi! I’m Karee (pronounced kuh-REE), and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 11 years old. Over the last few years on Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and it’s become one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I work full-time in employee benefits here in Nashville, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you’re away. I’m an active person who enjoys hiking, working out, and spending time outdoors. If your dog enjoys adventures and you’re comfortable with it, I’m always happy to bring them along on a hike or long walk when appropriate. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos throughout your pet’s stay. I know how much peace of mind matters when you’re away from your furry family member. My home has a secure, gated patio for fresh air and potty breaks, and I provide at least two walks each day. If I ever need to step out for an extended period, dogs are safely crated (if crate trained or requested by the owner), and I do everything I can to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. Before each stay, I’d love to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, medications, favorite toys, and anything else that helps them feel at home. Every dog is different, and I believe great care starts with understanding what makes each one unique. Whether your pup is energetic and loves to play or prefers a quiet place to relax, I’d love the opportunity to care for them. I look forward to meeting you both! I conduct most of my meetings from home so I can provide the flexibility and attention that your pet yearns for. I enjoy going for walks throughout the day to keep me energized, so your pet will get plenty of exercise. I ensure that each dog under my care gets walked a minimum of 2x each day during their stay. Needless to say, I treat my client's pets as if they were my own. Their happiness and safety will be one of my top priorities. If I need to be away for an extended period of time, I do prefer to keep my guests crated and play soothing music throughout the house to help combat separation anxiety.

About: I prefer animals over humans. Have had pets all my life. From small dogs like a chihuahua to large dogs like a boxer. Very attentive. Work from home and available on weekends. Can care for your pet all day since i work from home. I also enjoy walks and will walk your pet. Home is pet friendly and safe for all pets. Your pet will be leashed on walks. Unsafe rooms will be gated off so that they can stay in sight.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, when we adopted a stray that was pregnant. Throughout Sweetie’s pregnancy, birthing, and weening, and our raising of her puppy Zorro, my mom taught me all about dogs, since her dad used to breed pugs and cavalier King Charles spaniels. Before Sweetie came to us, I had been wanting another dog, as our previous golden retriever, Jasmine, had been stolen. So, my mom bought me several books on all the different dog breeds, so I could educate myself on what to expect and what I wanted when we got our next dog. I learned so much throughout this time, and have only continued my education and experience with dogs. I love dogs so much that sometimes it feels like my heart is going to explode out of my chest. Every dog I meet, no matter how old, will always be a puppy to me. I sometimes think that the closest we will ever get to experiencing a physical manifestation of the love of God, is the love dogs have for us. I’m self-employed and currently don’t have any pets, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to work with your schedule and your dog(s) routines! Noting and being aware of any specifications, such as meds, their usual routine/schedule, unique preferences, and any special requests the owner has made. Consistency is so important in maintaining mental health and stability for your pets!
