“Steve is an amazing pet sitter!! This is my second time having Steve pet and housesit, and I will absolutely be using him many times in the future! My German Shepherd is 1.5 y/o and she can be a lot of work. She’s very energetic, and loves to play and be outside. Steve took her on so many adventures and sent me photos from all of them! He applied all of the guidance I gave him for working with her, and also is just so natural with dogs of all kinds, so my pup felt super comfortable with him throughout the whole stay. I think she was bummed when I walked in the door returning from my trip and not Steve! He’s great communicating throughout, sending photos and videos, and giving her tons of attention, walks and fun. I had so much peace of mind being away from my pup, knowing Steve was with her. He also took great care of the house and it was clean/spotless when I got home. I can’t recommend Steve enough! Thanks again, Steve!”

“Tracy was just wonderful. The cats were happy and healthy, and she left the house cleaner than she got it. She took care of our plants too. Plus, she was very communicative and easy to talk to. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter!”

“We recently had the pleasure of having Natalie watch our home and dogs while we were away on vacation, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible job she did. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such capable hands. Natalie was incredibly thorough and treated our home with the utmost respect. What truly stood out was her amazing care for our dogs—she took them on the most thoughtful, energy-burning hikes that left them happy, healthy, and totally tuckered out! It was clear she paid close attention to their needs and routines, and her updates gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Coming home to a clean house and two content pups was the best welcome back we could have asked for. We wholeheartedly recommend Natalie to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, and detail-oriented. She's truly a gem!”

“Ken stayed at our house and watched our 5yo labradoodle. Ollie was happy and tired when we got home, which is always a good sign that he got along well with Ken and got to go in lots of walks! Ken checked in about every other day with photos, which we loved to see when we were missing our pup. Thanks Ken!”

I can do drop in visits and walks after work. I am off sat sun mon for pet care. However is required. Typically on a drop in visit, I will come over and let the dogs out. Take them on a walk. About: Hi there! We’re Winnie and Ryan — lifelong animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts based just outside of downtown Breckenridge. Between the two of us, we’ve spent over a decade caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Our home is shared with our sweet 7-year old husky, Stormy, who’s always ready to make a new friend. While Stormy is high energy breed, she is very independent and is really good at matching another dogs energy, whether that is wanting to play or be kept alone. We live an active lifestyle filled with hiking, running, swimming, and skiing and we love including pups in all of it! Winnie works remotely during the week, so your dog will get plenty of attention, affection, and midday snuggles. Whether your pup loves to play and explore or prefers a more relaxed routine, we’ll tailor the experience to their energy level and personality. Here’s what your pet can expect while staying with us: – Plenty of outdoor time and long walks – Timely meals and plenty of fresh water – One-on-one attention and personalized care – A calm, loving, and safe environment – Treats and cuddles (with your permission, of course!) Our flexible schedule and mellow home vibe help ensure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and part of the pack — whether it’s just for the day or an extended stay. We’d love to welcome your furry friend into our crew — let’s connect! Pet care fits really naturally into our daily life. I work from home, so dogs are rarely alone and get lots of love, walks, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. We’re outside often, whether it’s on a walk around the neighborhood or heading out on a nearby trail. Stormy (our husky) loves the company too, so your pup will always have a buddy around! We’ve made our home super pet-friendly (having a husky will do that!), so dogs don’t have access to anything they shouldn’t. We only accept bookings when Winnie is in town, which means someone is always home during the weekdays, and on weekends, pups are never left alone for more than 4 hours max.

Blue River pet parents share their Rover experiences
Carly was awesome! We were out of the country for a month and she took extraordinary care of our Bella and Panda. She took them on daily hikes which they love and even gave them baths. She definitely spoiled them! We were so confident to leave them with her and had confidence of her responsibility. Carly stayed in our home while she watched them which our dogs loved. The house was all clean and linens washed when we returned with fresh flowers on our island and a very sweet card to us. We highly recommend Carly. She’s the best!
