“Can't say enough good things, every day she's stopped in to check on my pup, he's had a great day playing fetch, running around, getting some of his energy out. His commands have gotten better, crate training better, and she's given me good tips and tricks that she's observed spending time with my pup. Also takes and sends great little videos and pictures of my pup playing or being crazy whenever she does a drop in.”

“She was absolutely amazing with Dani and Kode. Extremely professional! Felipe and I highly recommend and will definitely hire her again. She is definitely the best!”

“Aaliyah was so great! She kept us in the loop, had great communication, and provided lots of updates and photos! I definitely would recommend her to care for your fur babies”

About: Hello! My name is Denisse, and I’m a dog and animal lover. I’ve lived with dogs since I was a kid and understand that every pet has its own unique personality, routines, and needs. I love providing attention, companionship, exercise, and plenty of affection while their families are away. Whether it’s a walk, a daytime visit, or longer-term care, I am committed to following each owner's instructions to ensure their pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I am responsible, punctual, and patient. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so walks will be a fun and safe experience for your dog. I understand that entrusting your pet to someone else is a big decision; that’s why I’ll stay in regular contact and can send you photos and updates to give you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your furry best friend. I'm a very active mom of a six year old daughter and also of a Border Collie. I have some free time in the mornings and I would be happy and would love to help you take care of, walk, and play with your best furry friends. I have a huge and very safe backyard. A border collie and a six year old girl who also loves animals, too and she’d be happy to play with your dog.

“Got along great with my girls! Sarah is kind, punctual, and very much an animal lover. Will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking care of my babies!!”

“Sierra was a great pet sitter! She took wonderful care of my two golden retrievers and kitty, even brought them treats and toys. I would absolutely recommend Sierra and book her again.”

“Brice is a wonderful sitter for my Frenchie. My schedule changes some weeks and he is always willing to try to work with me to make sure my puppy is taken care of. And my Milo loves him to pieces!!”

“Went above and beyond to make sure that my cat, Oberon was looked after. I forgot to leave out the key for her, and Ashley worked with me and my apartment to get in and take care of my kitty. She even made sure that I could get back into my apartment when they replaced my lock.”

“Asia took great care of my dog during drop-ins while I was away. Her communication was great. It was a breeze as a first time user of the Rover services. I would definitely recommend Asia and hope to work with her again.”

“Absolutely will be using her again!! I needed someone to let my pups out last minute and she went above and beyond!! My dogs had a blast when she visited. Thank you sooo much!!”
“Faith was amazing with my pup Blair! She went above and beyond every single day. Super reliable, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. I felt totally at ease while I was away. Will absolutely book with her again!”

“Ashtyn was absolutely amazing, caring and perfect taking care of my cats! Highly recommended for anyone who truly wants the best care of their pets, while they are away. She sends many photos each day, and will even call your phone if she has concerns. She is a winner!”

About: I have had many years of animal care! I have been volunteering in animal shelters since I was 16 and have previously walked dogs in Chicago for a few months! Most recently, I was on a volunteer team that helped train rescued puppy litters. I am currently a dental student that does not have the time for a full time job, but will always make time for some furry friends! I live in a gated apartment community with grassy areas within. There are no other animals in my apartment. My area is very walkable and I would love to be able to do so with your pet!
“I booked Tisha at the very last minute (due to a dog sitter cancellation) for some dog walks while I was out of town. Tisha is very responsive and kind -- I always felt like Zoe was in great hands! I feel so fortunate that we were able to find someone so great with only a day's notice! I highly recommend Tisha and would definitely book her again.”

“Ashley took great care of our two cats on short notice after needing to travel last minute! The check ins were very smooth and had no problems. It seemed like my two cats had a blast with her!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 246 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Blue Hill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Blue Hill. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
