“Miranda is awesome! My German shepherd puppy is vary wary of new people, and he was best friends with her after the first day. She's made sure he's well exercised, fed, and happy. She is very good about communicating and sending pictures/videos of my dog whenever she visits so I can see how he's doing. She's got a lot of experience so she's been able to give me some pointers/tips that have really helped out.”

“Got along great with my girls! Sarah is kind, punctual, and very much an animal lover. Will definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking care of my babies!!”

“Faith was amazing with my pup Blair! She went above and beyond every single day. Super reliable, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. I felt totally at ease while I was away. Will absolutely book with her again!”

“I Appreciate Ashleigh Sooooo much! I was so nervous on leaving my boys with someone they haven’t met. But she was no less than amazing. Sent me plenty pictures daily, made sure I was in the loop & even swept where the dogs were ❤️. I appreciate her so much & 10/10 will be the person I use when I go out of town for now on. Now I can really take trips now!”

“Having Becky drop in was a game changer for our kitties. They were much happier when we returned home after having dedicated attention and playtime every day. She also took great care of our chickens! We will definitely be rebooting if we decide to go out of town again.”

“This was our first time using Rover. Ashley just completed a weekend of drop-in visits. She agreed to come and meet Bailey beforehand and was very attentive. Lots of good communication, photos and videos throughout the weekend.”

About: I have had many years of animal care! I have been volunteering in animal shelters since I was 16 and have previously walked dogs in Chicago for a few months! Most recently, I was on a volunteer team that helped train rescued puppy litters. I am currently a dental student that does not have the time for a full time job, but will always make time for some furry friends! I live in a gated apartment community with grassy areas within. There are no other animals in my apartment. My area is very walkable and I would love to be able to do so with your pet!
About: Currently I have an austrailian shepherd of 2 years. I've always owned a dog since I was young and honestly really love them! On several occasions I have pet sit for friends that have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I am working full time as an engineer so unfortunately I can only board on weekends nights. It's the most time I can assure your pet actually have freedom to walk and have fun! I do have another dog that is still a puppy and energetic and loves to play! So your fur baby will never be alone! I do not have a yard but we have a big open field in the apartment complex that is a good walking trail!

“Absolutely will be using her again!! I needed someone to let my pups out last minute and she went above and beyond!! My dogs had a blast when she visited. Thank you sooo much!!”
“Asia took great care of my dog during drop-ins while I was away. Her communication was great. It was a breeze as a first time user of the Rover services. I would definitely recommend Asia and hope to work with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Sydney. I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I'm experienced taking care of various dog breeds from an 11 year old Alaskan Malamute to a year old Miniature Pinscher. I grew up always having at least one dog in the house and to me my dogs are my family! I love all dogs and would treat yours like I treat my own! I'm a very active person and love the outdoors, so if your dog loves exercise, I am all about going on a long walk or run. My own dogs and I also participate in Dog Sports including Agility and Dock Diving. I am aIso a board member of the Little Rock Dog Training Club, where I assist teaching dog training classes. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience working a variety of more exotic animals, since I have been a working zookeeper for over 10 years. I graduated from Hendrix College with a degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and have my Masters in Biology Zoo Science! I look forward to meeting you and creating awesome memories with your pets! I currently work full-time as a zookeeper. I like to schedule appointments after I get off work in the evenings. When I’m at your home, I always follow the guidelines set out by you.
About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, lizards, cats, and even helped breed our dog a few years ago, when she had 8 puppies. I’ve been taking care of my own dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and I share a special bond with animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes—small, medium, and large—and am familiar with crate training if needed. I’m also very experienced in taking dogs on leashed walks. I am a realtor at ESQRealty Group and I also work part time at 1836 Club, as a bartender! In my free time I am always looking forward to spending my additional time with pets and taking care of them! My schedule is pretty flexible so please reach out if you have any questions. I ensure my pets get plenty of quality time outdoors, taking them on walks and letting them outside every few hours or whenever they need to use the bathroom. I always provide them with food and water as needed. While my home is spacious, I live in a townhouse with a small backyard. I’m excellent at following instructions and am happy to do whatever you’d like. I’m very trustworthy and genuinely love animals, treating them as a part of the family rather than just pets.

Whether it’s a walk, a daytime visit, or longer-term care, I am committed to following each owner's instructions to ensure their pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I am responsible, punctual, and patient. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so walks will be a fun and safe experience for your dog. I understand that entrusting your pet to someone else is a big decision; that’s why I’ll stay in regular contact and can send you photos and updates to give you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your furry best friend. I'm a very active mom of a six year old daughter and also of a Border Collie. I have some free time in the mornings and I would be happy and would love to help you take care of, walk, and play with your best furry friends. I have a huge and very safe backyard. A border collie and a six year old girl who also loves animals, too and she’d be happy to play with your dog.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Marche
Taylor did a great job caring and looking after our dog and cat. She spent a lot of time with them ensuring they had enough attention. She was detailed in explaining how the visit went with each pet (how they ate, went potty, and responded to attention). She communicated well with when she would be on her way for each visit. I would book with Taylor again. :)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Marche. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
