“Lena did a great job with or 2 cats and 3 dogs including a dog with a developmental disability! We got lots of pictures while we were away including some with the tell tale blurred tail. Proof positive of wagging tails. All are pets are rescues, one recent Finn, who is still learning to trust new people. She passed the Finn test with flying colors!”

“Trustworthy and meticulous, Karen spent five days with my two big labs and gave them endless love and attention. Since we have no fence, she had to leash and walk the dogs a lot, and modify for the old limpy dog versus the young bouncy one. She left my house looking beautiful and even did the laundry! I want her back next time I'm going out of town.”

“Cindy took such good care of my dog while I was away on vacation. She kept in regular touch with me, by providing updates on how things were going, as well as pictures, which really put my mind at ease. It was the first time my dog hadn't been watched by either friends or family, so it meant a lot to find someone that genuinely loves animals and was fully committed to my dog's needs, as she was very attentive to my instructions regarding his eating schedule and other routines. When I got home, my place was spotless, and she had taken the extra step of doing laundry and making the bed, so I would have clean sheets to return to! I would highly recommend Cindy for anyone looking for an extremely reliable, responsible, and caring dog sitter.”

“Alli provided daily check-in's all week with photos and videos when she was house-sitting. One of the dogs had to be fed 3 pills a day along with a topical foam and all of this was done correctly! Small mishaps from the dogs were reported (pee accidents, destroying food containers, etc.) and everything was left clean and tidy before we got back home. I was so worried but consistently put at ease because she took care of the dogs. I am so thankful I found such a great sitter on Rover and highly recommend her.”

“Emily was a fantastic dog/house sitter!! She sent updates/photos of our Pup, was very responsive and professional, and left our house cleaner than when we left! We would not hesitate to book with Emily again!”

“Michelle was so kind and personable. I loved that she came to the meet and greet for our housesitting with a pen and notepad! She was a pro at giving our husky his meds, the house was left clean, and she was easy to communicate with while we were gone. Thanks, Michelle!”

“Heidi did a great job taking care of our cat and our home. A great communicator and super responsive. We were ver pleased and will request Hiedi's service again.”

About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

“Shauna was fantastic with Fred & Mojo - came over earlier in the week to meet them and do a practice run pilling the cat (which is ALWAYS a challenge for someone who she doesn't know). So great to have someone who really cares take care of your pets.”

“Matt took incredible care of our dog Paddington! We had come up to Lake Placid & Matt was able to watch him afternoons through evenings so we could have dinner in town. Paddington was taken on a long hike every day which he loved & we received lots of photos and updates throughout the day. Don’t hesitate to book with Matt as he’ll make sure your dog feels like they are on vacation too! By the 2nd day, Paddington was very happy to see Matt knowing that he would have a fun afternoon. Will absolutely book again next time we are in Lake Placid.”

“Jess watched our dog and cat for the first time over the weekend. She let us know when she arrived and sent a photo. She was responsive to our texts so we felt comfortable being away.”

“We can’t thank Rachel enough! I was nervous to leave The girls with strangers, but my worries quickly faded away! From the very start Rachel was awesome! Sending pictures and even working with our youngest in the back yard. The house was left in perfect order! We can not give Rachel enough praise! Would definitely use and recommend!”
