“Wendy and Daniel were great! This was a first time walk and they made sure to get all of Freddy's info/instructions before they came to see him. They took him for a long walk and gave him all the attention and treats. We will definitely call them again for another visit. Thank you!!”

“Katie was very responsive. She came on time, was reliable and treated my dog very well. He loved her. I felt very safe with her and will definitely use her in the future.”

“Rachel is amazing and takes such good care of Paisley! I had a lot of anxiety in letting someone into my home to care for her, but Rachel has put all of that worry to rest. She is great at communicating, flexible, and patient. 10/10 recommend!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Morgan!! She is such a kind person! My dog waits for her to come for her daily walks!! My dog is the happiest when she sees Morgan’s car coming down the road!!! I honestly can’t control her excitement just waiting for Morgan to get to the door! I have had many sitters in Rover and she is truly the best!!”

About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.
About: I been fostering and caring for kittens/cats for many years. I also have 4 cats of my own. I absolutely adore all animals and enjoy caring for them. I’m very open to being available on my lunch breaks during work, week nights and weekends. I try and be as flexible as possible when I can be. I will give them tons of attention and love - whatever is needed to make them happy and feel loved. I'm happy to follow any rules and instructions you give for them. I know how important it is to keep our fur babies loved and happy :)
About: How I can be your pets next favorite friend is my strong background in working with dogs, especially when it comes to basic training like sit, stay, lay down, etc. to even teaching some fun, playful tricks! I focus on making every visit engaging and positive to help reinforce good behavior while keeping your dog happy and active. While dogs are my specialty, I’m always happy to care for cats too with the same level of love, patience, and attention. Taking care of animals is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve got a dog of my own, so things like walks, training, and playtime are already part of my routine. I genuinely love being around animals, and I’m hoping to turn that passion into a full-time career one day. Pet sitting, or even just being around animals gives me a chance to do what I enjoy while gaining more experience with different personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m happy to care for your pet in my home, where there’s plenty of room to play and relax. I have both a front and back yard for outdoor time, and while they aren’t fenced, I always use heavy-duty tethers and stay close by to keep things safe. Inside, there’s lots of cozy space and available crate room if your pet is used to having their own spot. Your pet will also have the chance to hang out with my own small, friendly dog if they enjoy some company! I make sure every pet feels at home, gets lots of attention, and stays on their usual routine as much as possible. When caring for your pet at your home, I’ll always follow your instructions and any special routines to make sure your pet feels comfortable and at ease. I’m happy to stick to their usual schedule and habits so they experience as little disruption as possible. Plus, I bring extra pet supplies with me whether it’s toys, bowls, or anything else needed to ensure your pet has everything they need while you’re away.

About: Dogs have been part of my family for many years, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I've cared for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little more patience and attention. As an owner of both a Jack Russells and a cattle dog, I'm very familiar with intelligent, high-energy breeds and comfortable caring for and managing multiple dogs at the same time. What sets me apart is the level of care and responsibility I bring to every visit. I know how much trust it takes to have someone enter your home and care for a member of your family. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention, and make sure you receive updates so you know they're happy and well cared for. Whether it's a good walk, a potty break, mealtime, playtime, or simply some companionship while you're away, my goal is pretty simple: care for your dog the same way I'd want someone to care for mine. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine with my own dogs, so adding walks and drop-in visits for other dogs fits very naturally into my day. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits, as well as some evenings and weekends. I enjoy being active and getting outside, and I'm happy to tailor each visit to your dog's normal routine—whether that's a good walk to burn off some energy, a quick potty break, mealtime, playtime, or simply some company and attention while you're away. I also try to maintain enough flexibility in my schedule to be there when pet parents need a little extra help. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is to keep things as familiar, safe, and comfortable as possible. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications when needed, playtime, and any house rules or special needs their dog may have. Before heading out for a walk, I always make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I'm attentive to our surroundings, other dogs, traffic, and anything that could make your dog uncomfortable. Having owned energetic breeds including Jack Russells and a cattle dog, I understand the importance of staying alert and being prepared for the unexpected. I also recognize that you're trusting me with your home as well as your pet. I'll treat both with the same care and respect I'd expect from someone coming into my own home. I'll keep you updated during visits and walks so you can feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and getting the attention they deserve.

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Blooming Glen
Ian really is a treasure! My partner had an emergency hip replacement so we're using Ian for daily walks with our biggest dog for 3 months (and maybe more). Our Finn is a giant dog (over 105 pounds and dog reactive) and Finn loves Ian. She starts checking for him a couple of hours before her walk time and then squirms with crazed excitement when he pulls in the driveway I cannot recommend Ian highly enough. Thank you Ian!

Rebecca has been a fantastic help to me with walking my dog. I recently had a surgery that required that I not be up on my feet for a few months. Rebecca is so great with my Willow. Willow somehow knows exactly when Rebecca will be here and sits anxiously with coat on at the front door. If you are looking for a great person to take care of your pet, Rebecca is your go to person. I highly recommend her for all your pet needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
