About: Growing up I’ve always had pets, including dogs of multiple breeds! I love being with and taking care of animals. My family currently has 2 border collies and a bulldog/boxer mix! I’m very good with all kinds of pets:) I am a recently graduated physician assistant who just moved to the Chicago area! Currently, I’m in the process of transitioning into my full time healthcare career and am available during the weekdays for dog walking! Currently, I am not looking to care for dogs in my own home but I am willing to care for client’s pets on their homes!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for my own pets and my neighbors’ pets since I was a kid. I’m a certified veterinary technician and currently work at a doggy daycare, where I’ve spent over two years giving dogs lots of love and personalized care. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra patience, attention, or medication. I am in college and I work, but I am always ready to work around it. I’m available for drop-ins and walks Monday through Thursday after 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays all day, and Sundays before 12 and after 5. I care for both cats and dogs with safety, patience, and respect for their individual needs. I always follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and litter box or potty schedules. For dogs, I focus on leash handling, safe play, and proper supervision. For cats, I prioritize a calm environment, clean litter boxes, and playing if they’d like. I keep pets in safe, clean spaces, respect your home, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have had both dogs and cats throughout my life. I’ve always had a love for animals and I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away. While stationed in Germany, I regularly cared for the pets of military spouses and families. This gave me experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and personalities! I also have experience caring for pets with specific needs, including dogs and cats that require medication. I’m very comfortable following detailed instructions from owners and making sure medications, routines, feeding schedules, and other care needs are handled properly. Most importantly, I know every pet is different & I always take the time to make sure they’re comfortable, while also giving them the same love, attention, and dependable care I would want for my own pets. Hi, my name is Kristina! I know leaving your pet home alone can be a very stressful time for you and your pet. Knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away is important to ease your mind and ensure your pets health and safety. Here is a little background information regarding my experience in the pet care industry to help reduce the stress of leaving your pet. As a child I was raised with a household of pets from dogs to cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles and fish and more! I am currently a dog mom to a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher Mix name Charlotte who has a history of separation anxiety. Outside of my personal household, I have over 15 years' experience as a private pet sitter for dogs and cats as well as a dog walker. I have over 5 years' experience in a dog and cat boarding and training facility. I have experience with horses as a rider, farm hand and lead (line) trainer. I have worked with elderly, animals with medical needs and blind and deaf animals. I am a Pediatric Nurse and looking to supplement my income. I may have minimal availability for early morning and late nights. Please ask if you have any questions about my availability. I am available for drop ins and walks. I am available for early mornings (as early as 0500) or after hours. If you do not see availability for certain dates, please reach out to me with special requests. About: I have had dogs my whole life. As a teen I worked in a kennel and ran a kids obedience class. In my 20s and 30s, I fostered for a bully breed rescue. I've had everything from nine week old puppies to 13 year old dog. So the size of the age of the dog has never really made much of a difference. I'm pretty familiar with most tools for walking and training and if I'm not, I'm confident telling you so ,along with my ability it learn proper technique. I believe patience is key with any animal. I've had deaf dogs, dogs that need to be carried up and downstairs, the crazy dog that runs around and eat your socks. I believe staying calm and patient is the key to dog getting comfortable with you. I have a super flexible schedule. I'm a stay at home mom of a teenager. I scheduled personal appointments pretty well in advance giving everyone time to make sure things are covered. I currently watch a couple dogs for friends and I've had no problem dropping in on short notice or having their dogs dropped off to me with short notice. My husband and child are really dog savvy so having one randomly need to crash for the night or come over for a few hours, never really phase them. Work is one of those things where in my house everyone just understands you gotta go. In my house, we put a baby gates an extra dog crate . There's always water bowls available. I do have a large fenced in area and plenty of toys available. Out on walks everybody stays on a leash. Give them plenty of space and time to sniff around, but making sure we get some exercise. Always good to carry water for the dogs and snacks. Some dogs need more space away from everybody else when they're walking and that's OK we'll find a different walking route change things up, I feel like you know your pet better than anyone else. You'll tell me what they need and how to love them best. I believe they're all individuals and have individual needs whether be in your house ,mine or walking down the street.

About: Hi! I grew up with cats since I was a baby. I have experience from kitten to older cats. I also have experience with dogs. I have watched a family member’s dog when needed. I have experience with puppy to older dogs. Hi, I am currently working at a school in Dresher. I’m available during the week starting around 7pm. And, I’m available all day on the weekends! I cannot watch dogs at mine and can only go to you! I am more than happy to house sit and/or walk your pets!

About: My entire family loves dogs. We will take such good care of your dog. I had dogs my entire life and truly enjoy them, they are my babies. We have trained our dogs and are very responsible with making sure that they are happy, loved and well taken care of. Both my husband and I work from home. We can snuggle and take your dog for walks during the day and night. We are also available for weekend boarding overnight too. We have a fenced in yard so the dogs and kids can play out back safely. We have a nice big house that is good for the dogs to play in. We also have a fenced in back yard. We allow dogs on couches and beds to snuggle.

“I have really enjoyed having Shanon coming to walk my big boy. My big boy is a rescue and is not great with new people. At 140 pounds he can be very intimidating to others. We need someone to watch our dogs for a long trip this year which will require work and time to build a relationship. Shanon is very intuitive to my dogs need to build a relationship slowly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. She does rush him or force him to be near her and he is very quickly getting comfortable with her which is something I wasnt expecting to happen so soon. I can not rave enough about her natural intuition and willingness to work with us, its been a perfect fit and I know our dogs will be just fine with her for an extended period of time in a few months!”
