About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was young. Truthfully I had never been a fan of them until we got kittens during COVID. About: Hi everyone! I've had dogs since I was a baby. My first dog, Kayla actually taught me how to walk! I absolutely love pups & am hoping to open a sanctuary for senior & disabled dogs one day. The atmosphere in my house is very relaxed. Everyone is welcome on the furniture & most of our guest pups sleep on our beds or in one of several dog beds we have throughout the house. Their choice! Have a pup with special needs or need medications administered? No problem! From allergy meds to insulin to diapers, I have years of experience. I also keep puppy pads readily available for our untrained guests. When the weather is good, I like to take the dogs on day trips to parks, events, markets, etc. Let me know if your dog is not a fan of car rides. Communication is key! About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. I currently run my own business, so I have a great deal of flexibility and time to give lots of playtime, love, and attention to your baby. We have a large, 1 acre yard that is currently unfenced, but it is our plan to soon put one up. To keep your pets safe when going outback, we will always keep them on a leash and get their energy out by running or walking down the garden paths on the property! We live in a quiet farming community, so there is plenty of space for your fur baby to enjoy, play and relax. My favorite thing to do with the dogs is walk them out back, lay on a blanket in the grass, enjoy the sun and the views (we love to watch the neighbor’s goats). Indoors, we have 3 cozy rooms and a living room with a dog couch, as well as comfy places to rest all around the home. There is plenty of space to make accommodations for pets with special needs.

About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goat, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently switching to working 2 part time jobs 7 days a week to only working 1 of those jobs maybe 2-3 days a week so I'm looking to fill my time with taking care of your furry best friends and probably working more at the horse farm too. My schedule for work is made at least a month in advance and I don't work weekends since I work for a dental office so I have some free time to do this now. Looking to walk your dog, drop in on your cats/dogs while you're away and maybe open to short overnight stays in your home if I can arrange for my own doggie to be taken care of because he gets really lonely and upset if I'm not home at night, otherwise I'd have it on my profile that I was available for that too. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. As a teen I worked in a kennel and ran a kids obedience class. In my 20s and 30s, I fostered for a bully breed rescue. I've had everything from nine week old puppies to 13 year old dog. So the size of the age of the dog has never really made much of a difference. I'm pretty familiar with most tools for walking and training and if I'm not, I'm confident telling you so ,along with my ability it learn proper technique. I believe patience is key with any animal. I've had deaf dogs, dogs that need to be carried up and downstairs, the crazy dog that runs around and eat your socks. I believe staying calm and patient is the key to dog getting comfortable with you. I have a super flexible schedule. I'm a stay at home mom of a teenager. I scheduled personal appointments pretty well in advance giving everyone time to make sure things are covered. I currently watch a couple dogs for friends and I've had no problem dropping in on short notice or having their dogs dropped off to me with short notice. My husband and child are really dog savvy so having one randomly need to crash for the night or come over for a few hours, never really phase them. Work is one of those things where in my house everyone just understands you gotta go. In my house, we put a baby gates an extra dog crate . There's always water bowls available. I do have a large fenced in area and plenty of toys available. Out on walks everybody stays on a leash. Give them plenty of space and time to sniff around, but making sure we get some exercise. Always good to carry water for the dogs and snacks. Some dogs need more space away from everybody else when they're walking and that's OK we'll find a different walking route change things up, I feel like you know your pet better than anyone else. You'll tell me what they need and how to love them best. I believe they're all individuals and have individual needs whether be in your house ,mine or walking down the street.

We need someone to watch our dogs for a long trip this year which will require work and time to build a relationship. Shanon is very intuitive to my dogs need to build a relationship slowly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. She does rush him or force him to be near her and he is very quickly getting comfortable with her which is something I wasnt expecting to happen so soon. I can not rave enough about her natural intuition and willingness to work with us, its been a perfect fit and I know our dogs will be just fine with her for an extended period of time in a few months!”

About: I've taken care of a cat since I was in 2nd grade, one dog since 6th grade. We got two more dogs in 2021 which I have also been caring for. I’m constantly surrounded by my animals that I just love and I would love to love yours too. I am currently employed as a caregiver but have a lot of free time in between clients and on my days off to care for your pets. I make sure each pet eats the required amount of food and times a day that they are used to and ensuring that they stick to their daily routines.
About: I lived with animals, all my life I have three kitty cats now, and I had labradors when I was kid. My grandfather had some Dobermans when I was little and I’ve been around great Danes as well.. I have walked three huskies with my son who has high functioning autism, and is my helper with a lot of my jobs we do it together. We’d love to take care and love animals I am highly focused on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. When I watch pets, we typically spend our time doing activities,, outdoor play. I have a flexible schedule, and I’m willing to work around mine and your schedules I will work during the week and weekends as well I would take very good care of your pet inside your home and if you have a list and concerns for your pet, I will be able to willing to work on that for your pet.. Knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away is important to ease your mind and ensure your pets health and safety. Here is a little background information regarding my experience in the pet care industry to help reduce the stress of leaving your pet. As a child I was raised with a household of pets from dogs to cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles and fish and more! I am currently a dog mom to a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher Mix name Charlotte who has a history of separation anxiety. Outside of my personal household, I have over 15 years' experience as a private pet sitter for dogs and cats as well as a dog walker. I have over 5 years' experience in a dog and cat boarding and training facility. I have experience with horses as a rider, farm hand and lead (line) trainer. I have worked with elderly, animals with medical needs and blind and deaf animals. I am a Pediatric Nurse and looking to supplement my income. I may have minimal availability for early morning and late nights. Please ask if you have any questions about my availability. I am available for drop ins and walks. About: I have taken care of all my families pets since I was young. This has included dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, and guinea pigs. I have large animal experience as I am an Animal Science major at Delaware Valley University. I am currently available anytime Sunday-Tuesday and any time before 6pm on Wednesday. I have a car and a local park I enjoy walking if you’d prefer your furry friend to go on long walks! I will have more availability after August once I complete my internship.
