About: I’ve had a connection with animals for as long as I can remember. They are a passion of mine that I’ve always been committed to pursuing either as a career or meaningful pastime. I have 15 years of experience with pets belonging to family, friends, my lovely clients here on Rover and my very own. I’ve spent time with all different kinds of breeds from tiny chihuahuas to large and lovable pits. I love to stay active and occupied, so no worries if you have an energetic pup who loves to play. Whatever your fur baby needs, I’m here to provide it. My goal is to build their trust, make them feel safe and offer a true “home away from home” experience. I’m very flexible and always willing to work with any schedule as long as communication stays open, and I will make sure to keep you updated with photos and videos throughout their stay. my schedule is open and flexible, giving me plenty of time to engage with your pups and provide them with enough company and attention. I am available for sitting on both weekdays and weekends. the area in which I reside has plenty of property for your pup to play in, and my own little chihuahua-mix will have no problem showing yours around and making them feel right at home. I give treats, praises, quality time, and hygienic care while away.

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

I plan my day around pets’ needs to ensure consistent, attentive care. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, preferences, and personality, from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medication, and cuddle preferences. Because I work at an animal shelter and have experience in a doggy daycare, I’m attentive to behavior, safety, and stress signals. I provide calm, patient care and adjust my approach based on each pet’s energy level and comfort. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. In a client’s home, I respect the space and keep everything clean and consistent. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is always to create a positive, low-stress experience and treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I have always had dogs as a child and as an adult. I enjoy going on walks with dogs and giving them all the snuggles! I am teacher and off for the summer. I am around most days. If I am running errands it is only for a short period of time. I have a fenced in yard. I have crates if needed. I can block off sections of the house. I have a 2.5 year old yellow lab to keep your furr baby entertained. I have lots of doggy toys for entertainment as well.

About: I have been neighbor hood babysitter and pet sitter since I was 8 years old. Always be responsible and trustworthy. Treat your property and pets as if they were my own. Animals can't speak for themselves so we must be their voice. I work for myself and have flexible schedule. My business is slow right now an I love animals so it will help me cope an offer best care for those who want the best for their loved pets! Animals are the world to me wish I could have more but I rent. I am allowed to have animals over for few days at a time as long as it's not permanent. Perfect for everyone as your pets will be loved as much if not more then expected. I am a serious animal lover and the care I provide will be noticed. Sometimes people say their dogs not friendly yet ends up loving me regardless of what they say or have experienced with other. Kinda like snow white when it comes to all animals. Recently got 2 rabbits who were dumped and new experience. Amazing to love such small creatures

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. In addition to owning and fostering animals, I have also gained an abundance of experience in animal shelter work, veterinary assistant, and wildlife rehabilitation. I now only have one dog named Ben— he’s an old man and is very mellow. As a pet owner, I understand that sometimes life gets busy and we worry about our fur children at home. I would love to be there for you and your pet! I have worked with all sizes and breeds, and many different temperaments. If your dog or cat hasn’t special needs, I would be happy to accommodate for them. If your pet is generally on the anxious/ reactive side, I am still very much willing to work with them! I am very flexible and engaging, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I currently run my own business, so I have a great deal of flexibility and time to give lots of playtime, love, and attention to your baby. We have a large, 1 acre yard that is currently unfenced, but it is our plan to soon put one up. To keep your pets safe when going outback, we will always keep them on a leash and get their energy out by running or walking down the garden paths on the property! We live in a quiet farming community, so there is plenty of space for your fur baby to enjoy, play and relax. My favorite thing to do with the dogs is walk them out back, lay on a blanket in the grass, enjoy the sun and the views (we love to watch the neighbor’s goats). Indoors, we have 3 cozy rooms and a living room with a dog couch, as well as comfy places to rest all around the home. There is plenty of space to make accommodations for pets with special needs.

About: I have over 40 years experience with dogs. I will provide lots of love and care. I have previous experience with giving medications, including shots for diabetes. I have a big yard for your pet to play in (invisible/ electric fence only) I am an elementary teacher and will be available to provide care for the summer. I can provide all day care and overnight stays in my house. I am also available for stop in visits at your house to walk, feed and provide care for your pet. Plan your summer trips! My dog is my family and yours will be mine too. I will provide a loving home with a yard to play in. I give my dog lots of exercise daily with walks and play/social time. My dog loves to play with other dogs and is very social.
