About: I’ve had a connection with animals for as long as I can remember. They are a passion of mine that I’ve always been committed to pursuing either as a career or meaningful pastime. I have 15 years of experience with pets belonging to family, friends, my lovely clients here on Rover and my very own. I’ve spent time with all different kinds of breeds from tiny chihuahuas to large and lovable pits. I love to stay active and occupied, so no worries if you have an energetic pup who loves to play. Whatever your fur baby needs, I’m here to provide it. My goal is to build their trust, make them feel safe and offer a true “home away from home” experience. I’m very flexible and always willing to work with any schedule as long as communication stays open, and I will make sure to keep you updated with photos and videos throughout their stay. my schedule is open and flexible, giving me plenty of time to engage with your pups and provide them with enough company and attention. I am available for sitting on both weekdays and weekends. the area in which I reside has plenty of property for your pup to play in, and my own little chihuahua-mix will have no problem showing yours around and making them feel right at home. I give treats, praises, quality time, and hygienic care while away.

“Our dogs had a WONDERFUL day with Amanda! They were happy to be there and explore her huge backyard. Amanda is great with communication and very flexible with our schedule. One of our dogs can be reactive at times and the other one is very shy. They both immediately felt comfortable with Amanda and settled in quickly. About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! About: I have had pets of my own for many years and understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for them. I'm currently a teacher, but will have the summer off which allows me to be more flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard that provides a safe space for dogs to play and get exercise. I make sure pets are secure at all times.

“Highly recommend!! Great place to take your pup! Marla's home is great inside and out! She has a huge fenced in yard, great for running and exploring and there is also a walking trail, that runs behind her house. Inside the main floor is a perfect set up to keep your dog safe, but still allows your pup to roam. Marla's dog, Shadow, is so sweet and very well behaved, which speaks volumes in her doggy parenting style! Another bonus to mention, is her 4 loving children! They help keep my little guy busy and show him so much love! He absolutely loves going to Marla's house! I'm so glad, I found Marla!”

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

One of our dogs is afraid of everything, but she was happy and comfortable enough to nap on their sofa. And Shona was not even upset that we arrived early and woke her up, lol! About: Welcome puppy parents(: I am 26 years old and have my own chocolate lab puppy named Gunner. I am a very active person and love taking my dog for walks, so i’d love to bring yours along with us! I love getting to know new doggies and would love to help you out with whatever you need On overnight Stays: I will walk the dog 2 times a day, admin. any meds needed and feeding/watering Walks: 30 minute walks- can also admin. feeding/watering I work a hybrid job so I am in the office twice a week and home for three days. I am usually very flexible during my WFH days. Daily walks either morning or night time and lots of love all throughout the day I have a partially fenced in yard with dog dogs. One is 7 months and the other is 6 years old. I keep my eyes on your dog the entire time and make sure they are safe. When I am in your home, I will care for your pets just like they’re my own. Plus with whatever else you request of me to do.

About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.
