About: I’ve had a connection with animals for as long as I can remember. They are a passion of mine that I’ve always been committed to pursuing either as a career or meaningful pastime. I have 15 years of experience with pets belonging to family, friends, my lovely clients here on Rover and my very own. I’ve spent time with all different kinds of breeds from tiny chihuahuas to large and lovable pits. I love to stay active and occupied, so no worries if you have an energetic pup who loves to play. Whatever your fur baby needs, I’m here to provide it. My goal is to build their trust, make them feel safe and offer a true “home away from home” experience. I’m very flexible and always willing to work with any schedule as long as communication stays open, and I will make sure to keep you updated with photos and videos throughout their stay. my schedule is open and flexible, giving me plenty of time to engage with your pups and provide them with enough company and attention. I am available for sitting on both weekdays and weekends. the area in which I reside has plenty of property for your pup to play in, and my own little chihuahua-mix will have no problem showing yours around and making them feel right at home. I give treats, praises, quality time, and hygienic care while away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I watch all my friends dogs while they go on vacation as well as play dates. I work from home so I can spend all day with the dog. I have a GSP so I’m used to high energy around here! I have a fenced in yard, have a crate if needed, plenty of walkable paths. Good with medications and allowing dogs to be comfortable in my home on the furniture!

About: I love having pets and I will love yours as well. I have trained both my dogs to ring a bell to go out and to stay leash less in our yard as they are keen to listen and obey me. I groom my little dog myself. I take caring for other dogs seriously also so I would use a leash for the dogs I care for that are visiting. I can take them for leashed walks in my neighborhood as I live in town and there are sidewalks. I home school my 2 teenage boys so I am home during the days. I have one cat that is unbothered by other animals or people in my house. I look forward to meeting your beloved family pet! *AT THIS TIME due to my current schedule, I am only taking small dogs, doodles and current repeat clients. Sorry for the inconvenience, thanks! 😊 I am a stay-at-home mom, so I am very flexible with time to care for your pets! I am available for walking after 11am and until 3pm. I can pet sit all day up until 8pm. I have a partial fenced yard. I would use leashes for visiting dogs. I have two pet friendly dogs and a family who loves all animals!

About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! They have a wonderful clean fenced-in yard and property to allow for ample space and play time with their sweet Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Our dog came home happy and tired! We will definitely use them again for daycare and boarding in the future.”

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

My fur babies have been traveling for a month and have been a bit stressed but Matt made them feel comfortable and their big white dog was just the sweetest girl and also made my dogs feel welcomed.
