I have multiple years of experience in both emergency and general practice clinics and am thus confident in my ability to handle pets, distribute medication as needed, and recognize and respond to emergencies. Any animal in my care will be treated as my baby! ❤️ As a veterinary student, my schedule offers flexibility due to lunch breaks and large gaps between classes. I would love to share my daily study-break walks with your furry friend or spend the weekend with a study buddy while you’re away. I am unable to have a dog of my own right now and would be absolutely THRILLED to spend time with yours! My priority is always the animal’s safety and comfort. About: We lost our beloved dog "Chester" in 2022 and our home has felt empty ever since. Both my husband & I have grown up with dogs & we loved playing, walking and cuddling w/Chester. The unconditional love he provided to our family was priceless. My husband & I are empty nesters as of last fall, 2023 & we are available to care and watch your dog on a weekday or weekend.. Your dog will be loved in our home as much as it is in your home. We will thoroughly enjoy spoiling it like it is our own pet! We live downtown Des Moines & will be able to walk your dog regularly to near by parks/Grays Lake. I like to know what the sleep/feeding schedule of your dog is, as well as any tricks they know, the time between bathroom breaks, and how the interact with other dogs.

About: I've cared for dogs of all different breeds, cats, birds, bearded dragons and so much more. I currently have a German Shepherd, two French bulldog, and a cat. Have administer medicine to many dogs. I'm able to keep pets separated from other pets if needed as I have two level with full access to the fenced-in yard. Capable of caring for the youngest to the oldest animals. I do have experience with very anxious dogs as well. I am currently a stay-at-home mother of two homeschooled kids with lots of free, flexible time to give your pet lots of love and attention. About: I have 7 years of experience working with senior dogs who need a little extra care when it comes to medications and transportation. I am able to lift 140 lbs to help the forever puppies with powder sugar faces. I am currently between jobs after graduating and have plenty of time to go on “w.a.l.k’s” or play with pups! I have a lot of availability! I am very responsible when it comes to pet care and I am on call 24/7 for any pet needs. I keep a tight schedule for medications and have a keen eye for pill tricksters.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have taken care of bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, cats and dogs! I am a proud dog owner myself. I am very comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. I am passionate and willing to learn all different breed types and what each specific furbaby needs! I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside the home to burn off some energy and making sure that they are getting groomed if thats a requirement. About: I adopted my first puppy 3 years ago & she changed my life completely! I found a passion for working with dogs after I met her. She is a heeler mix and FULL of energy. Our first few months together, I thought “How does anyone have time to work a full-time job AND give their dog the exercise they need on a daily basis?!” I knew from that point on that I would be happy as a clam walking dogs all day. We could also play fetch in the yard or just do some sniffing! Dogs need to get their noses to the ground! I also have a lifetime of experience with cats- I was only a cat person before I discovered that I love dogs! 😁 It’s tough to work, vacation, or even just give yourself a break when you have pets. Let me give you some time back in your day by giving your fur babies some extra attention! 💕 I’m currently pet-sitting full time! I’m available for dog walking between 10am - 3pm Monday through Friday. I have weekend availability and will update my calendar regularly. My schedule is open in the evenings for drop-in visits as well. I will work with you. 🙂 I believe dogs should have time in nature every single day, even if that means just 30 minutes of sniffing around the yard. I try to give my pups as much outside time as possible (weather permitting). About: I have had pets in the home since childhood. I currently have a 14 yr old lab with dementia who is blind and half deaf along with a 2 year old American Bully who loves to go get pup cups and plays in the sprinkler. I have a very flexible schedule and I love animals! I am currently temporarily laid off so I have a lot of time on my hands! I would love to spend as much time as I can with your fur babies! I care for my two pets quite differently. I have to “baby proof” my home daily for my blind lab. Our dogs go on leashes to go out potty every time. They also have a strict feeding schedule as well.
