Doggy Day Care Bloomfield-Allen

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

About: Just hopping back on here after a couple years and am ready to get back to it for any of your pet care needs. I’ve taken care of many different types of animals growing up on a farm. I have two australian shepherd and two cats myself all of which i’ve raised and trained from babies. I’m currently staying at home so I have a very flexible schedule for drop in visits and all your pet sitting needs. I can be available at most times for walks, potty breaks and other pet needs I have a large fenced in yard and two dogs to provide plenty of playtime for your pets experience. I am also available for pet sitting in home

When I'm not working I have most evenings and weekends available to check in when they are at home! I have a Fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your pup company! I also have an XXL crate needed if that helps comfort them, so that they have their own space when needed!

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

About: I absolutely love caring for animals. I have a cat who gets along with just about any animal, I also live in a one bedroom if he would need it be separated. :) I have cared for others pets since I was young and I love taking doggos for long walks and giving lots of pets! I enjoy keeping the owners updated with pictures and provide a safe environment for their pets. I’m currently free quite often during the day. I am a teacher so school doesn’t start until the end of the month. Once school starts I can still watch on weekends! I live in an apartment with a dog park and I love to take dogs for LONG walks. I love giving pets and will make sure your pet is happy and healthy.

About: I've personally had many dogs of different sizes and energies, including a Border Collie, Boxer, American Bulldog. I have experience in training (reward training). I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. My schedule is very flexible and can adapt to your dog's feeding, sleeping and play schedule. I have no issues waking early, etc.

About: I grew up on a farm, caring for pets of all shapes and sizes! I've had many dogs over the years, from young to old and big to small. I am experienced with giving medication, baths, nail trims and love! I am very adaptable to your pets needs. I am currently in college, so I do have classes 4 days a week (Mon- Thurs). I am only away from home 4 hours at the most, and can make stops in to my apartment between classes on longer days. I am able to host pets in my apartment! I live in an upstairs studio apartment and spend much of my time there, when not in school. I have a 360°camera installed to watch your pet if I have to spend any time away. My apartment complex has a spacious lawn that is entirely fenced in. In my clients home, I am extra careful to follow any house rules. In case of overnight caretaking, I am comfortable with any sleeping arrangements (couch etc.). My top priorities are your pup and your preferences!

About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does! If not, I have the space to separate dogs too. Lastly, I have experience giving dogs meds as some of the dogs in my care have different long term conditions. Please reach out with any questions! I run errands or make plans outside of when I’m taking care of pets. Pet care is my priority while hosting! I allow dogs on furniture, but can follow owner house rules.
