Montrose Dog Beach

Montrose Dog Beach is dedicated to giving Chicago residents a safe and fun space to let their dogs freely enjoy the beach off-leash. Here you’ll find free waste bags and a place to rinse your dog after a romp in the sand.
This beach requires that dogs have DFA (dog-friendly area) tag, which verifies that they are not going to spread communicable diseases at the beach. Please see the dog beach’s website for more information, and this link detailing how to obtain a DFA tag from the city of Chicago.
