About: I grew up in a household full of cats and dogs. As one of the older children in the house it was part of my chores to take care of the animals. I have 2 of my own cats now and love to spend time with and love on them. I also am the go to for most of my friends for watching their dogs while they are away. I currently work as a server 3-4 days a week. I work 6 hour shifts that can vary from morning or night. I do have a flexible schedule otherwise. If I am unavailable due to work, my boyfriend is available and more than willing to assist since we live together. Since I have cats care is a bit easier. I keep them fed and with a flowing water system. I make sure to keep the litter box clean and am very gentle with them. With other people its all about your schedule and how you care for your pet. I am willing to fill whatever shoes needed.

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. About: I've been caring for dogs, cats and all types of farm animals for over a decade now. I really enjoy helping animals feel safe in whatever way I can and providing a sense of comfortability. From sweet cuddle bugs to reserved loners to senior geezers, all are welcome in my book. Whatever type of tail I'll love them regardless. I have little gremlins of my own, but that doesn't mean I'll prioritize yours any less. I can work in these timeliness almost always. If it's more than two weeks in advanced I can likely adjust my schedule. I am always respectful of boundaries both that you have and that your pet has. I like to spend extra time on walks or sitting with my clients fur babies to make sure they are comfortable and having a fun time with me. If they seem unsure I dont push them, I give them a little space. For eating I always assure if there's more than one animal they eat apart from each other to ensure no one gets too possessive over their food. Safe, comfortable, and fun are all important when thinking of your pet.

About: We LOVE dogs! My husband and I are experienced dog owners and caretakers, with experience spanning 15-20 years between the both of us. We will love your furbaby like they’re our own and they’ll leave our care happy and tired. We currently have two loves of our own named Butters (7 year old chocolate lab) and Poppy (1 year old foxhound mix) so we know how to handle dogs of all sizes. We have a large fenced in rear yard for playtime and a wonderful neighborhood to walk in. We are also centrally located in Fredericksburg so if your pup needs to go anywhere, we’ve got you covered! We do have small children so only dogs good with small kids can be accepted. We also do prefer a meet and greet with your pup before their stay with us.

About: Hi there! My name is Gillian, and I have been taking care of a variety of animals all my life. I've owned dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, and roosters! I love all animals and have an extraordinary talent communicating with them. I have been a dog and cat groomer, and a horse trainer. I am a trainer at heart! I will make sure your furry friend has everything they need, all the exercise and love they could ask for. I exercise my own dog for a minimum of two hours a day. We go to parks, play frisbee, go to the dog park, and go for long hikes! I work on a private 8,000 acre horse ranch, where I can bring dogs anytime to hike. It is literally dog heaven. I also have a nice backyard to play in. I know how hard it is to leave your pet, but you can rest assured I will do everything I can to make sure they have a wonderful and stress free stay! I have a pretty open schedule this time of year. My job is mostly seasonal, and I get to slow down in the winter time. That leaves me open for taking care of dog clients! Yay! I am more than happy to come stay at your home or I can bring them to mine! Either way we’re going for walks! Haha

About: I have experience with almost every kind of common (and uncommon) pet and livestock animal that is legal to keep in Virginia. From classic cats and dogs, to exotic birds, reptiles, and even tarantulas with eggs, horses, goats, chickens, cows, wallabies, and more. Do you have an animal that makes most pet sitters run for the hills in fright? Worry no more! Have one of the few animals I’ve not cared for, like Llamas, camels, emus, or ostriches? I am not afraid to learn. However, I am allergic to some dogs - for overnight stays, I do need either a dog free room to stay in, or the dogs need to be hypoallergenic. (unfortunately many of the doodle crosses are not actually hypoallergenic, despite breeder claims, so those will need to be played by ear) I am not allergic to any cats, and have no issues with livestock allergies. I do work full time a few days of the week, and part time a couple other days. I also have my own pets, including horses, so I can not offer continuous care during the daytime. Thursdays are my day off from my main job, and I can offer more care on that day. I will do my best to abide by your animal’s schedule and routine, and offer them as much love and attention as I can during my visits or stays. I try to give each animal, depending on how many you have, individual time and attention, if they are a species that enjoys that.
