He has really grown comfortable with staying there and is not at all upset when we drop him off or pick him up. “Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. Rebekah really cared for our pup and made sure she was able to just be a dog and have a really good couple of days with a new friend.”

About: I have many years of pet sitting, up to several pets at a time, including owning many of my own since I was a child. I am patient when meeting new pets, for I understand it may take time to warm up to new people (and other pets!) I’m friendly, and talk to most animals just like they’re humans (lol). I enjoy spending time playing around, going for runs, as well as providing companionship when around pets. We love snuggling in bed over here! I’m not easily intimidated by a shy pet, and will treat them with the same respect and patience as their owners. I have high expectations for my own, so I believe it is only normal and natural to give the same in return for others’ pets so their families are comfortable with who they leave their furry friends with when away. My boy is the friendliest dog ever! He absolutely loves meeting other dogs (and the owners to receive even more affection 🤣). He’s got a lot of energy, which can overwhelm others the first day (he just wants to play!) He is very gentle with small dogs. When meeting others’ on the first day, If they are uncomfortable with his energy level and show they need time to warm up, he immediately backs off and resorts to my side until they are ready. He is very submissive in this sense which is great for no escalation and providing other dogs with the time they need to adjust to a new setting/new friends. I work a full time day job Monday-Friday 8-4, so please be sure prior to requesting services, your pets are able to accept this schedule. I am unfortunately unable to stop in midday as my lunch break does not allow for me to make it very far under 30 minutes. My pets along with the others’ I have boarded have had no issues with a routine working schedule, but every pet has different needs. ❤️ I care for others’ pets like they are my own! It is my duty as a trusted sitter to care for others’ pets in a way they need. I predominantly care for pets in others homes as I have several pets of my own. I do not have any issue with camera systems being in shared spaces to assure families feel safe having someone in their home with their pets.

About: I’ve been around dogs for years! My family, loved ones and neighbors all have counted on me for doggy duty throughout the years. I have done numerous amounts of dog sitting for all types of breeds so I figured I would bring my expertise to Rover. I recently got a silver lab puppy named Jax and he’s been the best dog ever. About: Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until last year, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first ever job, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which would conflict with petsitting until I’d find a decent balance. More info will come when I get a job! 😄 Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️

About: I’ve had experiences not only taking care of my own animals but also watching my friends and families pets. I’m able to walk for however long a pet needs and I’m able to remember when a pet needs to be taken out or fed. I have a border collie whom my husband and I take to training, on regular walks, and socialize her downtown often. We reward her for good behavior and we're understanding of bad behavior, but quick to correct it. Dogs under my care are very well taken care of.

“Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”
