This means that I can provide 24/7 care and 100% focus on your little friend full-time. More importantly, your pet will be more comfortable always having a human around. I've been called reliable, honest and punctual. I take a more personalized approach and only serve one client at a time. The three pillars of my pet care are safety, reliability, and comfort.
“Bailie is the best. She did drop-ins for our dog for a week while we were on vacation. She kept us updated on how he was doing and sent pics everyday. He was a happy, healthy boy when we got back. I could tell he was well taken care of. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“Jeanette was absolutely amazing! ♥️ She is professional and definitely cares about what she does! I knew my animals were in good hands with her! Will definitely book her again! :)”

“Jessica was awesome! We loved the updates and pictures of our kitty while we were gone and she even looked after our feral kitties and possum (great for killing ticks). We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have many years of pet sitting, up to several pets at a time, including owning many of my own since I was a child. I am patient when meeting new pets, for I understand it may take time to warm up to new people (and other pets!) I’m friendly, and talk to most animals just like they’re humans (lol). I enjoy spending time playing around, going for runs, as well as providing companionship when around pets. We love snuggling in bed over here! I’m not easily intimidated by a shy pet, and will treat them with the same respect and patience as their owners. I have high expectations for my own, so I believe it is only normal and natural to give the same in return for others’ pets so their families are comfortable with who they leave their furry friends with when away. My boy is the friendliest dog ever! He absolutely loves meeting other dogs (and the owners to receive even more affection 🤣). He’s got a lot of energy, which can overwhelm others the first day (he just wants to play!) He is very gentle with small dogs. When meeting others’ on the first day, If they are uncomfortable with his energy level and show they need time to warm up, he immediately backs off and resorts to my side until they are ready. He is very submissive in this sense which is great for no escalation and providing other dogs with the time they need to adjust to a new setting/new friends. I work a full time day job Monday-Friday 8-4, so please be sure prior to requesting services, your pets are able to accept this schedule. I am unfortunately unable to stop in midday as my lunch break does not allow for me to make it very far under 30 minutes. My pets along with the others’ I have boarded have had no issues with a routine working schedule, but every pet has different needs. ❤️ I care for others’ pets like they are my own! It is my duty as a trusted sitter to care for others’ pets in a way they need. I predominantly care for pets in others homes as I have several pets of my own. I do not have any issue with camera systems being in shared spaces to assure families feel safe having someone in their home with their pets.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have extensive hands on experience caring for a wide variety of breeds, including French Bulldogs, Labrador Retrievers, and American Bullies. Growing up in a multi dog family, I learned early on how to manage different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I believe in treating every guest dog like a member of my own family. Your pup will enjoy a structured, fun day packed with plenty of outdoor playtime, mental stimulation, and healthy treats. Whether your dog is a high energy fetch champion or a professional couch snuggler who needs a gentle touch, I promise to give them the absolute best care and keep them spoiled rotten! Because I work entirely from home and have a highly flexible schedule, pet care is the central focus of my daily routine! I am at home throughout the day, which means your pet will receive constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and unlimited companionship. My routine revolves around the needs of the animals in my care. I provide structured feeding times, regular indoor/outdoor playtime, and plenty of dedicated attention. Your pet will never have to worry about being left alone for long stretches of time, making my home perfect for pets who thrive on human presence and routine. When pets stay in my home, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I offer a cozy, apartment style environment where your pet is treated exactly like family. Since I have four indoor cats of my own, I maintain a strictly secure environment with locked doors and windows.I introduce new pets slowly and carefully. If your pet prefers their own space, my home allows for easy separation using separate rooms or baby gates so everyone feels safe and relaxed. Your pet will enjoy full access to the living areas, comfortable places to lounge, and constant attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in your home, I strictly follow the routine you have established to keep your pet's stress levels as low as possible. I am incredibly respectful of your living space and leave it exactly as I found it. During my visits, I focus entirely on your pet's needs handling feeding, fresh water, litter box scooping, and administering any necessary medications or topical treatments. I always make time for quality play, head scratches, and cuddles, and I will send you detailed updates and photos after every visit so you have complete peace of mind.
“Alicia was on time, my dog warmed right up to her and off they went on the walk. She followed the instructions I had left her (i.e eye drops, water in bowl, leave treats, etc). My dog is happy with her and I will definitely be calling her again to dog sit/drop in.”

“Lucas was amazing while watching my 2 pups! He attended to the cats, which was not at all required but he still took the time to show them love. He took the pups out for walks and even gave them treats he brought himself and gave them play time. He simply went above and beyond!”

About: I've been caring for dogs, cats and all types of farm animals for over a decade now. I really enjoy helping animals feel safe in whatever way I can and providing a sense of comfortability. From sweet cuddle bugs to reserved loners to senior geezers, all are welcome in my book. Whatever type of tail I'll love them regardless. I have little gremlins of my own, but that doesn't mean I'll prioritize yours any less. I can work in these timeliness almost always. This will change soon and I will adjust when it does :) Mondays: 12:15-3:40pm 10:30pm-8am Tuesdays: 12:15-2:30pm 7pm-8am Wednesdays: 12:15-3:40 10:30pm-8am Thursdays: 12:15-2:30pm 6:15pm-8am Fridays: 2:30pm through the night Saturdays: 9am-1pm Sundays: ask and I can let you know. If it's more than two weeks in advanced I can likely adjust my schedule. I am always respectful of boundaries both that you have and that your pet has. I like to spend extra time on walks or sitting with my clients fur babies to make sure they are comfortable and having a fun time with me. If they seem unsure I dont push them, I give them a little space. For eating I always assure if there's more than one animal they eat apart from each other to ensure no one gets too possessive over their food. Safe, comfortable, and fun are all important when thinking of your pet.

“We had a walkaround the house with Rochelle. Rochelle was attentive and took lots of pictures. You can tell that she takes the care of our pups and the house very seriously. After learning the house, Rochelle observed the correct food portions and fed the pups. She is so loving to the pups.”

“Crystal was wonderful with our dogs! There were some tech issues on my end but she was understanding and patient. It’s nice to have someone to help care for our pets when we are away and trust that they will be fine.”

“April is a pro at this job! She thinks ahead while I-the cat owner - am worried about last minutes things to pack 😊. We had a great meet and greet which made me confident about the care our cat needs. All went smoothly and perfectly at home while we were away. April sent pictures and comments at every visit 🙏”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Partlow. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
