About: I am a college student at Virginia Tech who loves to take care of pets. I have 8+ years of pet-sitting experience. I also am a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Richmond, VA, so I am very knowledgeable of proper, loving care of dogs and cats! As a student, I have classes most days, but I am frequently at home during the week and almost always at home on the weekends. I am also a very active person who loves to take dogs on walks. I wake up early, so early walks or feeding is not a problem at all. I live in a townhome in Blacksburg that has a private fenced in courtyard as well as a big open grass area behind my house, perfect for potty trips and fetch.

About: Ive had 3 dogs since I was very young. My first dog was a rescue English Mastiff Puppy who grew super big and gave me experience with a medium-big dog, when I was 11, Cody, our male Cavashon joined the family! He is the sweetest boy, but originally had separation anxiety and anger issues, I can proudly say after lots of love and attention Cody is a friend of everyone and is also okay with being alone :) 4 years ago, I helped care for an elderly dog who has since passed, however I helped a lot with her medication administration and she helped me learn and gain experience with dogs who need extra care and patience especially when it comes to meal time and walks. I’m super excited to meet your puppy ♡ I am a full time student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule and my own reliable car. I’m usually on campus in the mornings for short classes (just over an hour), so I am always nearby and never gone for long. I keep a very organized calendar and can easily communicate my availability in advanced. I’m happy to help throughout the day, and I’m always just a quick text or call away. Feel free to reach out, even day of, and I’ll do my best to be there for your pet! ♡ Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I’m walking your dog or sitting at your home, I make sure to follow any routines and instructions you provide. I have experience with crating, supervised play at dog parks and fenced in yards, as well as walking dogs near other neighborhood pets. I’ll always keep you in the loop with plenty of pictures, updates, and a cute personalized report card after each visit, just so you know your cat or dog was truly cared for and loved while you were away :)
About: I have worked at a small animal hospital for a year and a half over school breaks, so I can administer medications, do CPR, and work with a variety of dogs and cats. I also take many animal courses in college as an Animal Science major which helps me know more about animal behavior, training, and well-being. I currently foster cats and have taken care of my own cats and dogs growing up. I volunteer at an animal shelter multiple times a week to socialize cats and walk their dogs. I can provide any special instructions/requests you might have. I work at a lab and farm part time over the summer and love pet sitting as well! In addition to my services, i am happy to switch rates to something you are more comfortable with and talk about other times as well! Monday and Wednesday from 6 AM to 1:30 PM and 6 PM to 10 PM, Tuesday from 12:30 PM to 10 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 10 PM, and all day Friday. I can be flexible tho! Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my home this year. However, when caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine, while being very clean and organized. I will not disturb your house at all, ensuring a calm and respectful environment for both your pet and your home.
