About: Can provide personalized care, from long energized walks for your young pets to sitting on the deck giving one on one time with your senior furry friends. I'm currently on summer break from college so I can provide services whenever needed. I am an early morning person and can also be a night owl when needed. When caring for client's pets I provide individualized care for whatever the pet needs. Crating, special food, specific exercise, or whatever care the pet needs to be happy and healthy.

About: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I'm grateful to have had many kinds of pets in my life since childhood. Together, my husband and I have been pet-parents for many years. We have also enjoyed volunteering with animal rescue and fostered several dogs; Which may or may not include a couple of foster-fails! Generally, I'm available for weekend drop-in care, Friday through Sunday. I have a pretty flexible schedule for some weekdays. Sometimes I can reschedule my day to accommodate 30 minute pet care services. Even if the day is blocked off on my calendar. Just ask me. I'll see what I can do! With new clients, I will require an initial meet-and-greet. That way you, your pet and I can get to know each other. I believe in good communication. I will always try to get as much information as possible regarding safety and caretaking. In the event of an emergency I will contact the pet parent right away via Rover app messages or call. I use Rover Cards to give realtime updates and send photos of the visit. I understand how much your pets mean to you. Our own pets have been a significant part of our lives for more than 22 years. I'm very protective of them and can't imagine a world without them. When you choose me, you can depend on me to care for your pet as I would a member of my family. * For new customers I require a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet. Preferably several days before the first booking.

“Charissa was great with Jasper! I was extra impressed by her consideration for my pup in the heat. I booked Charissa for two visits/walks during the day but she returned a third time later in the evening so Jasper could get out for a walk when it was cooler. I would definitely trust her to care for Jasper again!”

“Our dogs had an amazing walk with Chantal, and we couldn’t be happier with her service! She was so kind and professional, handling both of our pups with ease. They came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands when we can’t walk them ourselves. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable dog walker!”

“Yanan has been so amazing with murphy! This started just because I broke my foot but I am beyond happy with her services! We can't wait to have her help with murphy again! Thank you again! So great to see him playing with others again! We will definitely recommend Yanan and call her again 🐾”

About: I have experience working as a dog walker for a professional dog walking company in Vancouver, BC where I had the pleasure of walking and training a wide variety of dogs using safe handling methods and positive reinforcement. I am confident walking dogs with a range of behavioral challenges: leash pulling, reactivity, high prey drive, and anxiety. Through my work experience and basic training in obedience and agility with dogs of my own, I bring a calm, confident, and patient approach to caring for dogs. I am certified in pet first aid (Dogsafe) and have been a dog owner since childhood with experience raising dogs from puppyhood through to their golden years where administering medication and assisting with mobility issues are often required. Currently, we have a 12 year old Sheltie named Coco who is finally starting to slow down after years of running the show on our small farm east of Blaine. I look forward to hearing from you and chatting about your pet care needs! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. My schedule is currently open to dog walking during the day M-F, and drop-in visits 7 days a week. I volunteer at the Whatcom Humane Society a few hours a week, but otherwise my schedule is open for private pet care. The safety of your pets is top of mind for me. Dogs will be leashed at all times on walks and we will avoid meet and greets to minimize the chance of unpleasant interactions with other dogs.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Being in the army I also get called to take care of others pets when they are out of town. Once I am scheduled with a pet owner they assume priority after I get off work M-F at the latest 5PM and I get weekends off I get a full understanding of the owner’s expectations with me and there pet in there home when they are out of town. I try to make constant communication with the owner too.

About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! Your pet is as important as my own pet, I don't want anything to happen that would make anyone sad, things happen but things can be prevented as well.

About: About this sitte I've been a dog lover and owner of both small and medium dogs for the past 25+ years. I've had young dogs, old dogs, sickly dogs and can handle any situation. I have experience administering medications, injections, etc. I’ve also had several cats over the years and understand their idiosyncrasies. I prefer small to medium dogs but am open to caring for large dogs as long as they aren’t known to be aggressive or have a bite history. I'm a retired RN with time now to pursue things I enjoy, one of which is caring for pets. I have two senior dogs of my own so understand how difficult it can be to find someone who is trustworthy, reliable and who will care for them as they would their own. My schedule is flexible, available most days and times. At this point, I am not offering house sitting or boarding in my home. In the near future, I may decide to update my services to include boarding in my home. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, a house with a fully fenced yard and a special “cookie” cabinet just for them.

About: Hi there! I’m an enthusiastic animal lover with a lifelong connection to pets. Growing up, I cared for several small animals, and in my adult life I’ve owned two beloved cats. I currently live in a home with three dogs and always seem to find myself surrounded by animals—which I love. Their grounding energy brings a sense of calm and joy that I truly value. I’m a naturally introverted and intuitive person, and I connect well with animals (and people) in quiet, attuned ways. I show care more through actions than words, and I approach pet care with calm consistency and deep respect for each animal’s needs. In addition to pet care, I currently work as a caregiver, and I’m looking to add more balance to my schedule through something that brings me peace- like spending time with animals. I’m very reliable, responsible, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe and cared for in your absence. I look forward to meeting your pet and providing the same level of attention and love I would give my own. I am working part-time so have flexibility during the week as well as weekends. I am able to come during the day or stay overnight as needed. I currently do not have any pets of my own due to my living arrangement. My cat was re-homed recently to a friend as I now live with three dogs. When my cat was under my care, she had plenty of space to move around, lots of toys along with a big cat tree and window ledges to look outside. I brushed her routinely and am very familiar with general care like feeding and litter box changing. I have also cared for several dogs in the past and am familiar with general care like feeding, walking, brushing etc. Much of my recent animal care experience has come through my work as a personal caregiver. Several clients I’ve assisted have had pets-primarily cats and dogs- and part of my role involved helping care for their animals while supporting their overall well-being. While I can’t share personal details due to confidentiality, these experiences gave me regular, hands-on involvement with feeding, walking, and offering companionship to their pets. I am very detail oriented and take directions well. Whatever specific needs your pet has, I am confident I can meet them.

“Really enjoyed meeting Camden (as did our pets). He is responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. Best of all? Our animals really like him!”

Amanda S.
“Omg Amanda and her husband Josh SAVED us. I'm not exaggerating. We were overseas (in Asia) on an extended trip to visit family in the hospital when our regular sitter messaged us that our two pups were having health (GI-related) issues and that she was unable to care for them. In addition to this stress, the time difference and both my husband and I got Noro/food poisoning, to say we were stressed is a HUGE understatement. We contacted Amanda and arranged for the handoff. Unfortunately, our sitter was unable to make the dropoff, so Amanda picked them up!! We were mortified that she had to go out of her way to do that, but she put us at ease. Almost immediately under her care, the pups' GI issues settled (possibly stress related?). Not only did Amanda follow all our instructions (the pups are on a limited ingredient diet due to allergies and other health issues), she took them on daily pack walks with their resident sheltie, Koko. She gave us daily updates without us asking, which put us at ease. We were nervous about our 3 lb pomeranian Keelah adjusting to someone she hasn't gotten to know very well yet (she's a rescue from a hoarding situation, VERY cautious and flighty, nips when afraid) - we liken her to a feral cat. But Amanda did SO WELL with her and we could see in the photos, Kiki became more at ease with each day that passed. Amanda is such a great balance of honoring our preferences around their feeding protocol, as well as making sure SHE had enough information to make informed decisions on our behalf in case they had flareups again. The pups returned to us happier, CALMER (can they live with you forever?!) and less anxious. They live on a gorgeous farm property so there's plenty of room for the pups to explore. My husband and I wanted to cry tears of relief when they were under her care - she seriously removed all our stress. IF you're looking for a sitter who's empathetic, detail-oriented, and truly cares about your animals, look no further. We would seriously drive an hour one way to use her services again!”
