My schedule is quite open to whatever works with yours. I love getting outdoors so would love to help you puppies get out and get some exercise as well! About: I have lifelong experience caring for pets and have owned animals of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. I’m an active foster who has helped place six dogs into permanent homes, and I regularly volunteer at local shelters. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medical and special needs, including torn ACLs, allergies, skin conditions, and visual impairments in both young and senior dogs. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00–3:00 PM and am available for walks and check-ins before and after work. I’m happy to discuss additional needs and do my best to accommodate. It is a possibly to do mid-day walks if I have the means to coordinate around my work. My dog is my world (and she may or may not run the house!). She’s allowed on the furniture and enjoys a 30-minute walk every day, rain or shine. However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Each evening, or when running errands, dogs are put in their crates to rest and recover. Dogs are not allowed on carpeted surfaces or furniture in our home. Please read the following Rate Schedule carefully. 2024 Rate Schedule for House Sits & Overnight Care: Overnight Care: $125 dog/night: Dinner, evening care, overnight, and breakfast. I may come & go during waking hours depending on my schedule, but never leave your animals unattended longer than 4 hours. Additional hours may be booked under "Extended Care.” I will Drop-In for feeding, walks, loves and security checks according to your needs, every 3-5 hours. Extended (additional) hours are billed at my Drop-In rate. Holiday Overnight Sits: $150 dog/night. Holidays are defined as all Federally recognized holidays and major religious holidays including Easter. Holiday rates apply to the entire holiday period. EX: Easter holiday rates are billed F/S/S, Christmas holiday rates are billed 24 + 25th. I may come and go during overnight sits, always less than 4 hours at a time (*except in the event of an emergency) Constant Care: $350 dog/day+night This service is often utilized for puppies during the potty & kennel training period, and for elderly or special needs friends that cannot be left alone longer than 2 hrs. I'll ask for clear instructions from you and that all supplies are readily available for use so we can maximize our bonding time. For working breeds especially, I enjoy a variety of mental & physical play, as well as scent walks. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals, including a lot of dogs. At 10 years old my first job was taking care of my neighbors herd of cattle. I raised and trained a "Guide Dog for the Blind" and spent 11 years of my youth in 4-H and FFA showing cattle and horses. I also had cats, bunnies, chicken and ducks. I am retired and take my girl running, hiking and for walks on my property and on public lands in the area. We also spend time exploring our neighbors large ranch that I have access to. I have a fenced yard and 11 acres. My girl is content either lying around or exploring. She would love to make new friends and keep your dog company.
