About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a substitute teacher for the schools here in town. Which means that I dont have work several days of the week. This would allow me to be at home with your pet more and can attend to there needs entirely I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. Finding out what an animal likes and disliked has created an environment of trust and ease in my home. I love when they can roam and explore and relax as they need.

However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Due to me spending the most time with training and playing with Opie out of all the members in our little family, his big personality made his way into my heart. He is my buddy and I love taking him for walks, bike rides, park dates, and off leash adventures. I’ve come to love and appreciate tending to Opie and others dogs belonging to family and friends. Tending and caring for them has brought me a lot of satisfaction and happiness. Dogs really are mans best friend, and I am proud to call myself a "dog mom". I am a stay at home mom (SAHM) raising two little boys. We are home a lot of the time, and part of the routine is expelling energy from our dog. Pet care is just part of our day to day routine, all hours of the day. I have a fenced back yard and a mini Aussie to keep your dog company. Each evening, or when running errands, dogs are put in their crates to rest and recover. Dogs are not allowed on carpeted surfaces or furniture in our home. But they are allowed on the main level of our house. We offer a lot of love and time to each dog who stays here.

I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I raised and trained a "Guide Dog for the Blind" and spent 11 years of my youth in 4-H and FFA showing cattle and horses. I also had cats, bunnies, chicken and ducks. I am retired and take my girl running, hiking and for walks on my property and on public lands in the area. We also spend time exploring our neighbors large ranch that I have access to. Back in Nevada, I worked for a company called Home on the Range Pet Sitting and loved every client I had! I pet sat dogs, cats, aquarium fish, horses, and even chickens. For family, I have pet sat turtles, snakes, lizards, and parrots. My experience also includes young animals to elderly and administering medications. About: My family and I have had pets since we were 6 years old. I personally had over a dozen dogs, chickens, rabbits/bunnies, hamsters, birds, lizards, snakes, scorpions, sugar gliders, etc. I am very comfortable with animals and I know how to be with them. I am very active with the animals and so is my wife. We can give them bathes, walks, and occasional play time. We do not mind overnights, early mornings, all day sitting, or even late night activities. The dogs we had in our family were anywhere from small dogs to large dogs. About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a substitute teacher for the schools here in town. I raised and trained a "Guide Dog for the Blind" and spent 11 years of my youth in 4-H and FFA showing cattle and horses. I also had cats, bunnies, chicken and ducks. About: Okay, as a cat person… I see a need: where are all the cat babysitters?! Lots of dog lovers out there (I’m one, too), but the cats totally get left behind and they need all the love, too. In the midst of all this pet care, I rescued my own kitty—Oscar (who has since passed 😞). Now I volunteer at our local animal shelter.
