Safety, trust & environment

I have a 6ft tall fenced yard with plenty of room and toys to keep any escape artist happy. I have two dogs myself who love tennis balls and playing with other puppies. They are also used to being around quiet senior dogs. I also have a separate room for any dogs with special needs if separation is required but otherwise I would allow them to spend time with me. I love giving affection but I also want to have a structured, calm environment so your pet feels safe and secure.

Information Clayton T. would like to know about your pet

Proof of Rabies and Distemper vaccination is necessary for all pets under my care. It's crucial to share any dietary restrictions and medications your pet requires. Understanding their social behavior is also essential. Some pets prefer solitude, and that's perfectly fine. Knowing these details helps ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure in a new environment. Please disclose any known behavior issues beforehand. I will consider any pet, however I need to ensure I can accommodate any potential problems.

A typical day

I generally exercise/run the dogs twice a day. That usually involves going to the park or play dates depending on the time of year. And on top of that we usually have engaged playtime throughout the day. That could be playing fetch, tug of war or working on training and can vary based on the dogs personality. I’m a firm believer in learning what will be the most engaging for a dog and tailoring activities toward that. I do make regular park runs but only with clients that are comfortable in an off leash setting. Norms island is our favorite.

Pet care extraordinaire

Pet care experience

I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up in rural northeast Montana where critters roam freely. Since I was 19, I've cared for and trained all of my personal pets. As I've started my Rover journey, I've looked after hundreds of animals. If you need someone to care for your furry friend like family, count on me. While I adore all dogs, those with behavior issues are assessed case by case. I have the tools to separate and socialize them calmly and safely, accommodating individual needs. I'm happy to welcome any dog.

Absolutely wonderful first experience. Clayton made this nervous mama feel at ease by sharing photos through out the day. He is very knowledgeable and wasn't afraid to let me know when she wasn't happy (insert Frenchie whine 😂). Miss Lola left happy at the end of day and nothing makes me happier. Will be visiting again.
