About: Hello 👋 and welcome! 🐾 Though I’m new to Rover, pet sitting has actually been my very first job and to this day, at my ripe age, I’m proud to say I’m still doing what I love. What began as helping out friends and family eventually blossomed into a trusted and established side business that’s been going strong for over 20 years. It’s been a journey of love, learning, and lots of wagging tails! Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds: spunky puppies, shy cats, curious kittens, and senior pets with special needs, including blind and paralyzed dogs requiring extra care and attention. You'll receive daily photo and video updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing. For drop-in visits, I care for your pet right in the comfort of their own home, following their routine exactly as you prefer. Each visit includes feeding, water refills, potty breaks, playtime, and love. And yes photos and videos are sent every single visit to give you peace of mind and a smile during your day! For walks, I make sure your pup gets fresh air, safe movement, and plenty of sniff time. Whether it’s a quick potty walk or a longer stroll, I tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s energy and needs. I’ll also send photos and a little walk summary with every outing so you know how it went and how your pup is feeling.

About: I grew up on a farm and have a wide range of animal experience. I look forward to discussing what needs you and your pet family may have and I can assist you with. Thank you I can do drop ins Monday through Friday any time after 4:30 pm for drop in dog walking or feeding. I can board small dog in my home Friday, Saturday and Sunday please inquire about your specific needs of your animal to see if its a good fit for both of us. Your dog must get along well with cats, as I have two in my home. I have a small fenced back yard great for small dogs. Your dog will be monitored and not let out side with out supervision. About: New to Rover but fully experienced with pet sitting ! I also work as a professional dog bather so I have plenty experience providing full time care to dogs ! As my line of work requires skills necessary to handle all sorts of dogs and am more than willing to handle larger dogs, senior dogs and anxious dogs (no limit to the amount of dogs you have at home). I feel that I am incredibly gentle with animals and find dogs tend to naturally bond with me. I have house-sitted for around 5 years now and am able to stay overnight to monitor your puppies ! I also have 2 dogs of my own named Selkie and Mooncake that I've trained myself so don't be suprised if your dog has learned a new trick by the time you are back ! While I do work full time as a bather, I am able to get part-time hours so I will be able to attend to your dogs full time on the days I am pet-sitting ! I encourage reaching out to me to work through the amount of time in a day you would like me to be at your home so I can plan my schedule accordingly. :) I understand it can feel nerve wracking to trust your dogs with a pet sitter at your home, and as a trust worthy house sitter I will follow instructions as given and be sure to provide proper care to your pets. About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, fishes, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a horse! animals require different training and attention but taking care of them throughout my childhood was the best thing ever for me! I have open availability! I’m able to take your dog for a morning walk and an afternoon walk. I can also bathe your dog after! I do require for dogs to have a leash and a collar for walks, if you have a stroller for your pet I can use that too if you’d like.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for 15 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and appreciate the flexibility that Rover offers to care for your loved ones. I am reliable and will treat your pets in the way that you are most comfortable whether it’s while you are away on a trip or just need extra help. I work remotely and my dog Rufus is my favorite co-worker. I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to care for Rufus and your loved ones. We kennel Rufus at night in our home. We then walk him in the morning, feed him, and spend time with him. He is most lovable in the mornings. We have a dog run with shade that we use during the day if needed.

About: I have been actively caring for animals since 2020 and have found such great fulfillment through it. Your furry friend's needs come first and I always make sure everyone feels secure and happy in every visit 🥰 I am able to do overnights any day of the week. My schedule is always flexible and I will always find a way to make sure your needs are being met! For drop in visits and walks, I have more flexibility on weekends. On Mondays-Fridays, I am able to do visits after 4:30pm. With any new animal, I start off slow and let them have the opportunity to sniff or be near me without feeling pressured. I analyze the animal's behavior and pick up any cues on how they're feeling before proceeding. Building trust is very important to me and I like to build connections with the animals!

About: Comfort ability is key for me when it comes to your pets. I treat your dogs as if they were mine and I treat mine like actual babies lol I love to spoil any dog that I care for, weather we’re cuddling on the couch, running in the backyard or park, finding the right treats you like, making sure your puppies are warm or cold enough for the right temp around them lol making sure they’re healthy while they stay with me is also important. I know how to train puppies or younger dogs in basic training like shake, sit, or stay. I love walking dogs and seeing their tail wag as we take a stroll. Everyday I take a 4 mile walk/run so if you have high energy dogs, they will for sure become my jogging partner 🤞🏽 I am currently attending Allan Hancock college next month so as of now I can dog sit, etc at anytime. I do work part time. I can do short-term or long-term schedules. I am usually home all day with my dogs. They love treats as we have an endless supply of them, as well as toys and lots of cuddling ! They love long walks to the park and likes running in the grass. I have a fenced yard with a grass backyard. I have two boy dogs that love to go outside and run around. They both love showing other dogs what fun is about and they love their treats. They both love the rain but not the bathtub lol they love going to the park and especially the dog beach in Avila ! They also get dog home cooked meals ever night with snuggles after. Right before bed they go potty and then get tucked in with their favorite toys.
