About: I've grown up with all kinds of animals, cats and dogs. I have two dogs of my own currently, with the oldest being 11 and I've had him since he was 6weeks old. I dog and cat sit frequently for friends, in their home or they come to me if they want to. I always treat each animal as their own individual with their own personality and take time to pay attention and learn what they need, like, don't like, etc. Your animals will always be safe with me. I work from home so am able to be flexible. Your animals can always come stay with me if you need them to or I can stay with them if they are more comfortable in their own space. In my home, I have a fenced in yard and two dog-friendly dogs for play dates. In client/friends home, I will follow whatever rules or needs you have for your pets. I'm comfortable giving all kinds of care, medicine, etc.

“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). Derek was my first experience with Rover and I don't plan to seek out any other sitter unless Derek is unavailable, and he will my first recommendation to anyone else to need a sitter in Memphis. Thank you SO much for the care & love you showed Koda while I couldn't be here, I appreciated it more than you know to have the peace and assurance that she was in good hands!”
