Feel free to bring a personal article of your clothing if your dog has separation anxiety or a thunder shirt. Fenced yard. Child free home. Crate provided if requested by the owner. Retired, now spending the next chapter of my life doing something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about-caring for animals. Fresh water provided all day. I keep dogs on feeding schedules as provided.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is clean, smoke-free, calm, and pet-friendly, with a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play. I also live near several parks and walking trails, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. I have a friendly, social cat who gets along well with other animals and can be comfortably kept anway and completely separated if needed. I also have a sweet, laid-back, crate-trained 7-year-old Chihuahua who enjoys playing with visiting dogs of all sizes and has a gentle temperament. With over 13 years of experience caring for dogs, including senior dogs and those with disabilities, anxiety, and special needs, I understand that every pet is unique. My professional background as a therapist has strengthened my patience, observation skills, and ability to remain calm and attentive, helping me recognize changes in behavior and provide compassionate, individualized care. I’m comfortable administering medications, providing baths and light grooming if requested, and carefully following your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions. Pets are welcome on the furniture, and you’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and treated like one of my own.

I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic bathing, maintaining a pet’s normal routine, and providing plenty of affection and supervision. As a biomedical PhD student, I’m responsible, observant, organized, and attentive to details. I provide owners with regular updates and photos, and I currently host only one small or medium dog at a time so each pet receives calm, individualized care. I’m a biomedical PhD student with a structured weekday schedule, and I primarily offer boarding on weekends when I can provide more consistent supervision and attention. During a stay, I plan feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks around each dog’s usual routine. On weekdays, dogs may need to be comfortable alone for up to 4–8 hours. I live in a clean, smoke-free apartment with no children or resident pets. I host only one small or medium dog at a time so I can provide individualized care in a calm environment. Dogs are taken outside on leash for all walks and potty breaks. I carefully follow feeding, medication, crate, and household instructions, keep unsafe items secured, and provide regular photo and message updates. A meet-and-greet is preferred before the first booking.

Actually, I should note that the evening I dropped off Skye, she did something to cut her paw in her excitement when we arrived and we realized she was trailing blood. Brande did a great job of taking care of the cut and keeping an eye on her the next few days to make sure it properly healed. They treated her like a part of their family and I know Skye feels comfortable with them. As long as they'll have us, we'll continue using Brande for our sitting needs.”
