Growing up in Arkansas, it gave me that country life! I’ve had ducks, a goat, a rabbit, horses, cats, ponies, dogs, and chickens as my responsibilities to take care of. It was hard work, although I didn’t see it that way because I enjoy spending time with animals. This passion for animals has encouraged me to join 4-H( Marion/West Memphis Arkansas area), actively volunteer at animal shelters, join the Humane Society of Tennessee, and currently am working on my Vet Tech certifications. I’m here to show your pets it’s okay, their owner is leaving for the moment because we will have fun and I can give them the same attention and care that their awesome owners give them. I also have 3 years of experience dealing with domestic and farm animals! I have a very fexible schedule and I’m home almost all the time. I am committed to giving your pet an excellence experience with tons of attention. So if you need a pet sitter, I’m your girl! I’m also taking grooming and dog training courses, so I can get my certification. Currently, I don’t feel comfortable cutting or trimming pets yet because I’m still in training, although I do offer through Rover baths and brushing of teeth. 901 279 6895

Safety, trust & environment
I care for your pet in my home by taking them out 2-3 times daily or as needed per the owner. I can provide bowls, blankets, pee pads, and a kennel for your pets if needed. I have a lot of toys to keep your pet engaged and I don’t have a pet so i have plenty of love to spread! We go on walks or the dog park on good sunny days. I send pics and sometimes videos during there stay. I care for pets in client’a home by abiding by the rules or task the client instructs me to do for there pet during the stay. I play with the pet while I’m there multiple times during the day and I make sure i leave the place how i came in or better. I usually clean before I leave and make sure everything is done as instructed by my clients!

Akilah was very professional. This was my first boarding experience and I must say Akilah made the difference. My baby felt right at home with her. Should I have to board again I would definitely look for Akilah.
The best experience for my Cinny. Akilah is a wonderful sitter. Kind, with an abundant amount of patience for my barky Chihuahua.
Akilah wasn't home at the time we agreed to drop off our dog, but she made up for it by meeting us at our downtown hotel. So, all is well that ended well. Akilah is a bubbly person who bonded well with my dog. I think my dog was very well cared for during her stay.
Akilah is very knowledgeable about taking care of dogs. She did. Wonderful job watching my foster puppy while I was at work.
Akilah went above and beyond. She helped me out when another sitter cancelled last second. My dog and cat loved her as soon as they met her. She sent me photos and videos while I was away. She even took out the trash and washed the sheets in the room she was staying in!! Will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I currently work at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals, although I am very flexible and accommodating! You tell me what you need, and I will definitely make sure I’m there for your pet!
